Chick-fil-A

Heads up for those interested...shops are posted for Chick-fil-A with the company that just lost a fast food chicken client. They appear to be $14 reimbursement, no pay.

Can't tell you the shop requirements as I'm not interested.

Call me crazy, but I have this gut feeling that the chicken company that jumped ship is low-key still dating the old MSC.

I only see one location. I am wondering if I am late to the game or maybe they are only doing certain locations currently.
If I was a company paying another company to get my business inspected, I would be upset that my jobs were posted at no pay. What would that say about my company that I won't even pay the inspector a $1 to work. I would be SO embarrassed!

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

Hmmm, I didn't find Chick-fil-A, but I did find Super Chix, and it looks kinda promising, but the current pay is $3. I'll take the chance that someone else will want to do it for that price.
@ArkLaMissshopping

Remember not every one on this forum is doing this for a full time living. A student or a stay at home mom or someone retired might be happy to grab a "free" meal at a place they like. I think something like Chipotle or Chick-fil-A are quality of the fast food variety. I could see maybe doing one. I'm not going to do trash places like McD/BK/JitB/Taco Bell. You have to pay me to eat that crap.

Is this the same MSC as the burger place with multiple men?

It is, indeed

I'd love to shop my local Chick-fil-A. I've never seen a better run "fast food" establishment.
Did you know you can buy frozen waffle fries at virtually any grocery store and place them into your oven.
It is exactly the same thing.

Some people claim the chicken filet in the red bag at Aldi is also a Chic Fil A dupe.

For all of you newbies, the hint is already in this thread. Its rare to find a Chic Fil A shop. Your best bet is to create an account on Presto. They are occassionally on there.

@maverick1 was it the same? Did you heat up some frozen waffle fries to go along with?

I did one of these yesterday. It was easy and it sure seemed like it was for the client and not some 3rd party shop that comes up around every once in awhile. I hope they have as many shops as they did for the previous chicken client as my family loves CFA.
Thanks for your respond. Are you able to give a hint on who the company is that posts those?
Keep trying! It's one of the bigger MSCs. However, the shops are likely gone now. It may not be a recurring shop.

I love how "the elitist people come out of the woodwork" claiming Crap-Fili-A is so much better then McD's or BK. When any food is FRESH (even fast food) it is delicious. Crap Fili uses deep fryers too ! Chicken is chicken. Easy to make. No fast food is good for you (get over yourselves, with this superiority complex) These same people won't shop at Walmart. let's all shop at Target and pay more !?! Also, Racist Fili donated millions against Gay/Lesbians groups for decades ! Don't care if they supposedly changed that side of their business.
I visited CFA often when I was young. It was less popular and nearby at the time. Now, there are so many choices. Whenever I do want to visit, it's always on a Sunday. I always forget it's closed on Sunday!

Whew.....

Im in agreement with some of what you are saying, but chicken is not chicken when its not chicken. Have you ever visited a poultry processing plant? Take a deep dive into how many of these places make their chicken nuggets and then decide. Place each product side by side and the decide what percent of each "nugget" is made up of actual chicken. I have been to pork and poultry processing plants and have seen the sludge that is sent out to make various product sent to fast food restaurants. I don't think the use of a fryer is really the main issue here.

This could also lead us down the soylent green rabbit hole, but thats a whole other thread.

Regarding chicken nuggets, I watched a documentary some time ago with a brief segment on this. It makes sense that in one nugget, more than one chicken could be used. I wasn't aware, though, of how many chickens.

In one nugget, not only am I eating - Ernie The Giant Chicken, Foghorn Leghorn, and Buck Cluck - I could be eating so many more of their siblings and cousins, mixed in with other goodness. Yummy!

My roomie has family that has run a Chick Fil A. I have a freezer of their tenders, spicy and regular chicken. In the past, Chick Fil A as a whole did not use mystery shopping. They had a more rigorous inspection where a company showed up, stuck thermometers in the next sandwich out and so on. In the past, there have been a limited number of mystery shops for Chick Fil A in the Indianapolis area. Before 2018.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

I was a teenager when Soylent Green came out..

About the chickens.. don't eat nuggets, they're gross anyway. They put whole chickens in a hopper, chop them up, fat, bone, guts, and all, then extrude them into hockey pucks and deep fry them. They aren't food by any standard I know of. I almost live on chicken, about the only beef I get to eat are cube steaks and shaved beef, and not very much of that. But I can buy a whole rotisserie chicken for $5 and eat chicken every day for a week, and then make chicken stock for making soup. Why would I buy crappy nuggets? I can't even buy 10 nuggets for the price of an entire bird at Costco or even at Kroger.

I personally don't eat at Chick-fil-A anyway, I haven't had any food there that wasn't rancid, or cooked in rancid oil. The only good thing they have is real lemonade made with real sugar, and real lemons. And I can do that for the price of sugar, lemons come to me free, I've only ever paid for them at Kroger to get to my required minimum purchase a couple times.
