BJ's Brewhouse gift card compensation

A friend and I both did shops at BJ's Brewhouse last month. Normally we receive the gift cards around the 4th the following month. The FAQ site for the program says it should be no later than the 10th. Neither of us have received our gift cards yet. Have any of you who did the same shops last month get your gift cards yet this month? This is separate from the shop fee and is a flat gift card amount regardless of what you spent on your shop. I tried reaching out to the MSC but haven't heard back yet.

Normally they are right on time. Don't know what happened this month. Maybe they spent all their time onboarding the chicken finger client they poached from the other MSC?

They had to pull resources over for that?

i'm not too worried.....yet

Also, it could be a problem from the client too. It might not just be on the MSC. If the client is/had issues with generating all the GC for shop reimbursement, that could cause a delay.
I did one shop last year (actually such shop sounds like BOGO)> I waited for time they mentioned to get card and nothing has happened. I wrote down the scheduler about such issie and next day I got klink with card.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
Has BJ’s Brewhouse always been with the same MSC? I swear I went to one in April but there is no record of it with the current MSC.
Ive seen them with two different ones. They used to be with the company with the mattress and burger shops.

So I'm glad to know I'm not the only one, then. I tried contacting the general gift card email but will try the schedulers if I don't hear back in a few days.

Sometimes I feel sorry for editors.
And schedulers.

Poaching…love it biggie.

I still haven't received mine either. I messaged the scheduler, she gave me the email to the gift card department. I sent multiple emails. I haven't heard from them since.

The gift card team emailed me back to say they were investigating. Hopefully this will be resolved soon.
Just got this email from Robin.....

The BJ's gift card(s) for your June shop(s) should be sent out today. We were just made aware of an error that occurred when they tried to send them out. We apologize for the delay and any inconvenience.
I would think/hope the process is automated and they were not aware there was a problem until people started reaching out asking where their gift card is. Maybe they will add "process controls" so they know the process worked correctly for future monthly cycles.

I can't imagine someone is manually emailing the GC out to each shopper considering they do at least 3 (dining, bar, takeout) scenarios at each location each month.
I have not received mine either

I sent the mystery company a email. The response that I received stated that they sent the gift cards out by the 10th of the following month after the shop. I did the shop on June 16 but like you I have yet to receive a gift card. I sent them another email stating “When should I expect it July 10 (Which is past ) or August 10?”. The response that I got on the second email that I sent them was that they are checking into this.
How come this restaurant or this MSC gives $ 60 back on an GC and not on the meal it self?

I have never been to an BJ'S Brewhouse before. Is it any good?
I am not a fan, but other's may disagree. I do not like it enough to work for a giftcard to return.

So you get the full gift card amount ($60 for some, $100 for others) no matter what you spend on the shop. Order the daily specials (like half off pizza on Mondays or the $13 Mini Pizookie meal deal during the week) to keep the bill as low as possible. You can also earn and use rewards. Even better, you can use that same gift card on a future shop.

Yes, I had to pay for my first meal out of pocket, but even then I bought a gift card at Kroger to earn fuel points. Even after doing 10 or so shops, I still have around $300 in extra gift card funds to use either on my own or with a future shop.

As for the food, it's generally good. They have all sorts of things on the menu and various daily specials. Plus there is beer, and the Pizookies are really good too.
@gigishopper

Please convince others to not do them either. That means more for me :-)

BJ's is very popular and has a great happy hour during NFL season. Love that I get happy hour deals all day sunday for the NFL games. Monday and Thursday nights during the entire game too!

If you do an assignment, you might only spend $50. Then you get $100 GC and can do another shop and still have a "freebie."

I probably have over $600 in GC right now. Allows me to go out on my own without having to do a report. Also allows me to gift them to family members or friends for Christmas or birthdays.

@jp43209 is correct, take advantage of half price pizza or the current $13 meal deal promotion that has been around probably for a year now. Happy hour appetizer prices for chips/queso is $4 ($10 regular price).
I love BJs!

To further add, the brewhouse/restaurant itself is ok. Based on my past visits, it seems to be hit or miss, based on the location.

Have at it! There is one location in my city and its inside of a mall. The service and food are terrible. Most of the patrons are mothers with small children out shopping. I would give it a 1/10 for NFL viewing.

My main issue with the gift cards is I have 4-5 with $10ish leftover since you can only use one gift card per visit. I guess I could get a cheap lunch with the leftovers but that never happens.
I think you can use multiple gift cards on one transaction. For dine-in, I think you can checkout and pay yourself using the machine. At least in the States.

You can give multiple gift cards to the server and have them take care of it. I normally print them out so they don't have to take my phone away to scan the barcodes. I also noticed you can use three gift cards in an online order, so I'll do that sometime if I want to purchase something on my own dime.
I am in Texas, just my username haha. When paying using the QR code during the meal it does not allow more than one gift card per transaction. Maybe the server could help with that but seems like a memorable thing with someone having multiple BJs gift cards.
