Is BJ still being shopped

I have not seen BJ shops for few months already...is it still being shopped?

BJ's brewhouse with the pizookies? Yes, every month. They are great shops.

If you are asking about BJ's warehouse (club), I have no idea. There are none in my area. Costco is better anyways!
The restaurant was being done in my area.
Pretty sure BJ's warehouse store is NOT shopped, it's also a substandard version of a warehouse store. They really don't even compare to Costco or Sam's Club (and I won't shop at Sam's club).

BJ's Brewhouse is shopped, just none of the stores in my area, or we have a desperate shopper that grabs them faster than they are posted.
I have gotten emails for BJs Brewhouse in the past 3 days.
I saw a couple for July.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

Costco is better? Nah, just different. Costco has more locations, and around the world. I've been in both (Wally-World's version too!).

Choice is good for consumers.
The most recent shop I saw was for carry out as opposed to regular dine in or at the bar.

I always giggle when I get to the part where they ask if you would recommend BJ's :-)

I like a clear, concise statement, like this one. BRAVO!

Clearly not a native speaker.
How many languages can you read/write/speak fluently? I'll wait.

You can put me down for three.
Basic conversation, I can speak five.

Great job liking your own post.
I prefer BJs to Costco because they have smaller package sizes. Also, BJs has much shorter lines.

Myst, I can't argue with that. But Costco rotisserie chickens are $4.99, they are large, tender and not dried out. BJ's can't say that. They have tiny tough rotisserie chickens that make using even the sharpest professional chef's knives difficult, though they are still $4.99, there were larger ones for $6.99, but I'd already been burned, I wasn't gonna keep on spending money on inedible food. Their meat prices are not low enough to make up for the cost of the membership, and I only paid $20 for my first year membership. I talked to a bunch of their employees, especially the guys in the meat department, they are folks that couldn't hack it at Sam's Club and Costco, and they aren't paid as well as them either. And I absolutely HATE that stupid little robot that follows you around and beeps all of the time.
To be fair, I've never been inside a BJ's warehouse. I don't see the need to either. Costco is the best at the big club warehouse shopping. Sam's Club is a hell-hole. It's more convenient for me and I still hardly go. The clientele is shady and the workers are just like Walmart workers. The workers at Costco are like the workers at In N Out. They are the highest paid in their industry for a reason.

I get that Costco is not for everyone, but I go at least 1x per week. The $2.49 choco chip cookie is heavenly and why go to Crumbland pay $6 for the same cookie? It's not better at Crumbl. I get there is more variety at Crumbl, but choco chip cookie vs choco chip cookies, the $2.49 for 5.5 oz of pure bliss! It's the only thing luring me into the food court. But now they have Coca-Cola back, I might be tempted for the hot dog or pizza with a drink.

We got a free year when they opened a store near us. It runs out next month and I have gone 4x total. I go to buy meat in quantity to load the smoker for parties. And I will buy gas if they happen to be the best deal. But, there is no way they are better overall than just buying what is on sale that week at the regular grocery store. Add in a membership fee and that bit of savings goes out the window. Plus, they have an app-based coupon game that is SO irritating to me.
I don't know HB that Costco over there in Peoria is a PITA to get in and out of, and they don't have nearly enough parking. When I used to hang out in and around PHX we didn't darken the doorsteps of Walmart and Sam's Club, I don't even know where the Sam's club is in PHX.

Have you been to that huge Asian market in Snottsdale? We went in once and I filled up an entire 15 cu ft chest freezer. I had dogs to feed and an irresponsible "hubby."

Best chocolate chip cookie? It's not at Costco or Crumbl or anywhere else in a store...

It's the Chocolate chip cookie that my grandmother taught me to make. Everything else pales in comparison and I can't buy them.

Oh, and Costco pizza is terrible.

The best things at Costco? Fruit (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries) that I eat almost every morning. Yogurt or overnight oats, some nuts, milk, rotisserie chicken, and croissants. Maybe motor oil when on sale. Gasoline, but only when checked against the GasBuddy app to confirm it's cheaper than other places.

Now that I torched your food selections...LOL. Sorry, I call 'em as I see 'em.

Next!!!

@maverick1

Not sure you torched anything. I never claimed it was the best choco chip cookie. I said it's a good or better than Crubml for significantly less cost.

I also said "Costco is the best at the big club warehouse shopping." I never claimed Costco was the cheapest option for all things.

Their are plenty of solid Kirkland branded items that are equal to or superior to their name brand rivals.

Maverick1, you are a smart person. You do realize Costco sells TOP TIRE gasoline. Sam's Club does not. It's not just about price, but also quality.

I never said anything positive about Costco pizza.

If you compare Costco tire center vs competition, they offer all in pricing up front. The others add in all kinds of fees after the tire selection.

Ok, you redeemed yourself. I still wouldn't buy Costco chocolate chip cookies or their pizza. I make both of these with much better quality.

Yes, I know Costco labels their fuel as top tier. Do you know what that means from a practical standpoint?
top tier is just detergent additives that exceed the minimum EPA standards. My 2000 CRV has had all kinds of fuel put into it after 270K miles. Do i really think it makes much of a difference, not sure. This CRV is a beast and can handle anything. Maybe it makes a difference with some vehicles.

I have never done a scientific study to see how much better (if at all) my vehicle runs on it or without it.

But if it makes NO difference and it's still as cheap or cheaper, why not use it?
Detergents make little difference in driveability. What they do is help to carry deposits through the fuel system, and out your tail pipe. They also contribute to slowing down the burn rate so that you get the most bang for your buck. The octane rating is a measurement of the burn rate. Top Tier means nothing, most gasoline brands use it.
@Morledzep

Top Tier must mean something. Sam's Club does not use it. Circle K gas stations do not use it. I get that the big brand names all use it, but not all do.

I'm only saying if i can get gas at costco or sams, i'm picking costco because of top tier and i also know costco maintains their equipment much better than sams.
All things being equal, I'd pick top tier for increased detergent to help prevent carbon deposits from forming. Carbon deposits are a major combustion chamber and intake runner problem with vehicles today. Especially with newer engines that utilize direct injection with high pressure fuel delivery. This carbon also clogs the oil control rings on pistons which causes oil consumption..
I will take Costco gas anytime. It is the only one of those big box stores in my immediate area and happens to be 5 blocks from my house. Checking gas buddy it is always the cheapest gas around and I get 5% back using my costco credit card. But my area is expensive for gas. The Costco Business center about 7 miles away has gas 30 c to 40 c a gallon less than my local costco. So I pick up a mystery shop in that direction once in a while and go fill my tank there. Last time I went there were 2 cars ahead of me on a line with 3 pumps. Not much of a wait at all.
I find most of what they have is of great quality and they have a generous return policy if it is not. I cannot compare it to the other big warehouse stores but even with a big sale at the reg grocers on one item everything else is so much more expensive there that it is hardly worth my time to run over for just that one item when it is usually only a few pennies more at Costco than the sale price at Vons (Safeway) or Ralphs (Kroger).

@maverick1
