NFL and compliance shops?

You are correct, they have 18 regular season weeks. I would think they would want to "catch" any violators early on. The playoffs are not part of the "sunday ticket" compliance issue as they are on the major networks nationwide and not subject to blackout rules.

I have been doing them for $20 and actually called the schedulers yesterday to request one figuring the MAO wouldn't be fast enough -- it was assigned but there is a limit of 3 per day.
To Gigishopper:
Way back in time i worked for a company called Signal Auditing Inc. I'm not sure if they are still in business, as they no longer seem to have a website and there is chatter on some forums about them having not paid their auditors back 5 or so years ago.
Anyways, I did some jobs/investigations for Signal Auditing Inc checking PPV boxing and MMA, NFL, NCAA basketball tournament, and even NASCAR. I caught a bar pirating a PPV boxing match and got paid $500. I also caught 2-3 places pirating NFL, but the pay wasn't quite as good ($300 maybe, can't remember).
This was back in the day when phones didn't have video capability, so I had to use a digital camera to take videos required by the company. That was quite the challenge!
Wow! That is what I am talking about! $500 shopper pay--unheard of these days!

FYI, MAOs are posted for several shops now. I made an offer of $20 this morning and it was accepted about 30 minutes later.
funny they are just sitting on our site and my offers for less than that are consistently rejected
If there is watermark is that considered a violation? Or is it if there is no watermark?

I think the YouTube TV watermark indicates a violation because the establishment is using a residential subscription in a commercial setting. However, seeing a DirecTV watermark could be okay because DirecTV for business is one way for businesses to show NFL Sunday Ticket - [everpass.com] The one shop I've done this season was in a bar with all games showing, and I took photos of the DTV watermark.

I've wondered how everpass and the MSC are identifying the businesses to target, especially local and mom/pop ones, and I came across this page - [everpass.com]
@soonerself

why you selling yourself short on the MAO? I know they will pay $25 and maybe more. I got $25 on something. Start higher and reduce by $3. For the next one, start at like $30 or $40 and work your way down by $3 each time. But I would not say to make that offer as soon as MAO shows up either. They will increase their pay each day as we get closer to Sunday, so start your offers on Saturday. They should accept one by Sunday morning.

Yes, they accepted your $20 almost instantly cuz they are hoping people stay at $20 and under. They need to make money, but you also need to get more for what they want you to do.

Heck, they pay $15-$20 each week on the 5g burgers and that takes really no effort on the shopper's part. This "compliance" shop requires covert pictures and paying attention to all the games and looking for occupancy signs.

I agree with your points. The only reason I did $20 this early is because my wife and I actually like the restaurant (i.e. we dine there on our own out of pocket). It's not a local dive bar, more like a nicer restaurant in our area that happens to have TVs around the bar.
How do you do another offer? I always see on my app that the offer is declined, but there is no option to offer a different amount.
I don't know about the app, but on the desktop page they give you a radio button to make another offer.

I always shoot $3 higher than my minimum bid. If it's not accepted, I make the second offer at $3 less. I don't make third or subsequent offers. I'm trying to train their algorithm that they only have a second chance. My only competition really are other individuals like yourself who are willing to work for less. I won't. Have at it.

I picked up a little dive bar that has become a tourist trap today. They are known for their burgers (and they were delicious). Now they will be known as pirates! Busted! I felt so validated! They had three tvs and each had an out of market game playing AND I was able to capture the needed photos. I wanted to jump up and high 5 my husband (but I refrained).

I had the opposite experience. A nice(er) restaurant with only 3 TVs above the bar that were all showing a nature program when I arrived, i.e. no NFL games airing. When I asked the bartender to turn to an NFL game, she didn't know what the channels were and it took her 8 tries (different channels) to find it, and she confirmed that they did not have NFL+. They only had basic cable. No clue how this business even got on the radar.

the illegal streaming was in the back room by invite only. you didn't say the magic words to get in.
Maybe they were streaming competitive bow hunting.
I think they just did a revamp of Direct TV NFL ticket when they split with the non commercial market. The new pricing made a lot of bars drop the service so these are bars that had it before and have dropped the service. Direct TV now charges by the chair that could possibly see the TV and so if foot ball isn't your bread and butter it is hardly worth it.
week 10 NFL is up to $15. you can get $25 or more when they turn on the MAO. be patient.

In anticipation that people will not take them, i see week 11 has been posted as well for the same locations.

They certainly hold out hope someone will be desperate enough or there are enough "new" people willing to do these.

Yep. Those were the days!
For less than $200, I am staying home and watching.
