NFL and compliance shops?

@wrosie

are you saying you saw similar assignment on ISS? interesting. I did not look there.

as far as the pay, it will continue to go up as they need these done and it's not like they can keep pushing the date. there are only certain days NFL has games. I think the highest I saw last year was $20 pay with the $20 reimburse

a bunch of these just popped up in my area with the title "Sports Night!" - is this what this thread is about? (it is the same msc as the 'many burger guys').

I'm a little off-put by them: the description says "Discreetly look for out-of-market games from your questionnaire and evidence of unauthorized streaming/piracy." So basically I'm looking to get local businesses fined? I don't know if I like that idea.

Yes, that's what this thread is about. However, I did 2 of them last year at well-known restaurants (e.g. Chili's) and they weren't airing the games. Last year the description wasn't as explicit, e.g. referencing piracy, and I wondered if the shops were in place to help market typical satellite subscribers with a push toward streaming services, e.g. Amazon for Thursday night games, as there were questions about # of empty tables, # of customers, etc.
@soonerself

I believe this is more geared toward the big streaming site that took over the NFL "sunday ticket" from DirecTV a few years ago. It has nothing to do with the bezos company and thursday night foosball, sunday night foosball on nbc, or monday night foosball on espn. This is specifically about "sunday ticket" and that streaming site.

because friday night game from brazil (this week) is on the same streaming service that has "sunday ticket" that is why you are seeing Friday date as well as Sunday date on the shop board.
I have seen some here on ISS and some for the other mystery shop company that was used prior. I noticed from the instructions that I could see before assigning that the shopper needs to ask for a channel to be changed to make the proper assessment. Will it also require a picture? Can you imagine that scenario? Ask for a channel change then taking a covert photo. At that point, you may as well just wear a tee shirt that says, "#1 shopper in the USA!"

Bigdaddy, I didn't realize there was now a televised foosball league. I play it but wouldn't watch it.
And BigDaddy, there are 2 shops at an Indian casino near me for Friday night. One has apparently been taken or might have been pulled. The title had one location the address was 20 miles away.

I see nothing in my area with the bunch of brothers shops.

Disappointed they wouldn't pay my hotel bill to do the shop at the casino.
I would expect to see more listed for Sunday 9/14. There were quite a few on the board that went unfilled for Sunday week 1.

They had MAO turned on and fee at $15. What is the highest anyone got so far with the MAO? I did not do one the first week.
They couldn't get anyone to do them in my area for Week 1. I got about six emails with different titles (Sports Night, NFL Shops, etc). It's not my thing and I have a Sunday 12-3 group I hang out with all year long, so I am highly uninterested in getting a complementary US Foods' precooked chicken sandwich and a macrobrew as my compensation.

Over on reddit, there were a few anti-corporate posters incensed about the concept who were claiming that they would take the shops and then go in and reveal themselves to the owners and just say that everything was ok.

Lame.
to answer the question it is two photos and a third if there is an out of market game and you can or cannot determine who is broadcasting it. You do have to ask for them to change the channel if you can't tell who is brocasting. I just found a game that wasn't on Sunday ticket and they said they couldn't show it because they didn't have access. Requirement is to stay 15 min. I took two that were close to me for $15. Had a glass of wine and called it a day. Only 8 questions and no narrative.
@jazzzyjd

You still have to count all the televisions and find the "occupancy" sign?

I did a sportsbar last year where there were like 40 televsions. I hated counted that. Also looks strange walking around and looking for max occupancy signage.

I laughed when I saw the Indian casinos next to me have their address posted. There is a sportsbook with betmgm in there. They have a ton of televisions in the sports book and then all over the casino floor and bars. no way would i walk around and count all those?
the form I filled out did not ask for the number of TVs but it did ask for the occupancy sign. If it isn't by the door or behind the bar I just say no.

The back of the shirt can say "I am Kayla, hear me roar"
Many of the titles and also cities are wrong. If the business is streaming something unauthorized it doesnt matter if it is local, far away or a chain.

I was assigned one that I thought was a neighborhood dive bar--beef burgers on menu are 17.99. Thankfully it was cancelled already. I have no interest in another location if the fee barely covers a sandwich and drink.

They're now posted for 9/14 with an $8 fee.
@soonerself

just wait. it will go to $10, $12, $15, then $15 mao there is no flexibility on these. it can only be done sunday during the morning/afternoon games.

i saw them this morning....about 30 in my area. none of them jumped out at me (addresses). i usually know what the place is by the address.
They had some in my area last week and I did a couple.
I am in Oregon.....
Not a lot of $ but good amount for lunch money !.
All of the ones in my area are legit businesses. The addresses are correct too.
I saw some in my area. I did the one that only required you to take a photo of the exterior, interior and the television with the Chiefs game playing.The other shops wanted you to expose piracy. I did not feel comfortable getting the bar owners in trouble in my small town.
I have three all within two blocks by my work but I would like more than $8 despite being easy. Hopefully they will still be available when the price goes up -- 2 pizza places and BBQ could definitely buy some togo food for lunch for the week. Very doubtful they would be pirating...
Some impatient person just took a few at the $8. We just saw last week they went to $10 and then $15 with MAO. There is no need to panic on these. I guess if you are in an area with lots of shoppers and not that many on the board, you might have to settle for the $8. But I see at least 15 on the board still. Last time people took some and then dropped them, so maybe someone will read it and not like the scenario and change their minds.
They called and offered me a higher rate earlier today and then they were just cancelled. None on the board in my area -- anyone else see them?
check zip code 85260 (there as of 1:12 PM PST)
I didn't see it at 5:29 Eastern time so either it was picked up or I am personally blocked from doing them.
There are plenty in that area. You must be blocked. Did you check your shop log to see if your last shops were accepted or rejected?

at 2:35PM PST, i see these as a sample....there are plenty more

Phoenix, AZ 85008
Scottsdale, AZ 85253
Scottsdale, AZ 85256
Mesa, AZ 85201
Mesa, AZ 85210
Tempe, AZ 85281
strange -- they both read as approved. And I was a cheap date -- didn't even spend my reimbursement on one. Wonder what happened. I am correct that they are listed under restaurants as a category?
