A funny occurrence on a grocery store shop

I post this here because my fellow shoppers will truly appreciate the humor in this. I'm doing a grocery store shop and assigned the self-checkout lane. My eyesight isn't as good as it used to be (thanks diabetes), so before we're even near the checkout lanes, I ask my husband to help me get the attendant's name. Then, we make our way to an open register and the attendant is wearing three nametags. I've never seen that before and I got the name all by myself, lol.

The store near me clearly allows them to use nicknames on their tags. Some of them are funny. Santa works there, for example. It makes the names easier to remember sometimes but other times you get the science fiction dude and the name is alien sounding and 14 letters long.
Yes, all three tags were the same nane. It didnt appear to be a nickname.
The other day I was doing a shop and the cashier was wearing a nametag with a fairly unusual name, out of curiosity, I asked them how their name is pronounced. They pronounced it in a way that made no sense given the spelling. I said it seemed like it would be pronounced ----, the cashier said, Oh yeah, that's right, I forgot my name tag at home, and I'm wearing --'s tag, my name is ---. Made me laugh!
Yup! I often forgot my name tag while working at the casinos, and I wore one of the extra name tags stored at the podium. I guess that gave me practice for remembering my future alias names when doing mystery shops.
