Sunoco "free fuel" shops

I don't have any Sunoco stations in my area, but I did several of these when I took a 4000 mile round trip on vacation last month. They were super easy and paid well with bonuses plus the reimbursement for gas. I knew I would have to buy gas twice each day on my long travel days, so I just picked two along my route for each day.
I've done plenty of these. They are very simple, and the report is easy to fill out. Just make sure your pictures are clear, and that you have the time/date stamp on them! I usually pick up a route of these when hubdy and I go on "shopping weekends" and it ends up paying for a nice chunk of our gas expenses.
I received an e-mail recently from the msc that does these in my area. Basically it was a warning not to use the same CC more than once per day at the pump as it can trigger the anti fraud safeguards in Sunoco's system. So if you're doing more than one per day you have to use a different CC at each one. They suggest purchasing a Sunoco gift card to use at the pump.

I used the same credit card I always buy gas with twice per day while I was on vacation and had no problems with it. That was before this message came out, as I also received it. That being said, I would probably in the future get one of their gift cards as well if I was going to be doing several of them.

I've done tobacco shops at gas stations - usually a route with at least 4, up to 10. Every time I've done them, one of my credit cards get locked up with a fraud warning and I have to switch. It's almost reassuring to know which ones allow more 'suspicious' transactions to go through. I should switch the card up a little bit, but I like keeping everything for my 'shopping' all one one card.

Is Sunoco still a client of Ritter Associates?... or has a new MS company acquired the account?
They haven't been with Ritter for about a year. I love the Sunoco shops, but I've been noticing they are getting taken a lot sooner than usual these days. A sign of the gas times I guess.

You will have to find that one out for yourself. We can't reveal that info. It shouldn't be too hard to find.

I love those! You go out and watch for cars with the Sunoco sticker on the vehicle for an hour. It they have the sunoco sticker, you give them their prize!
And you got paid $15 to do it...sweeet....
