BJ Shops with Gift Certificate

Hello all. Forgive me if this was already discussed.....

There is a BJ Shop available. Fee is $4 with a $100 gift certificate. I have another (from a previous shop) $65 gift certificate. Can I use it for the payment when completing the $100 gift certificate shop?

Hi i always wonder why this is asked here and you don't each out to the MSC to ask?
I do BJs and I always use the gift card for payment when doing another shop. Report has always been excepted.
Yes, in fact the report even gave a question asking if you using gift card from previous shops for payments,....
Yes, you are allowed to use a gift certificate to pay for a future shop. Then use your gift certificate from that shop to pay for the next. Rinse and repeat to minimize your out of pocket costs.

You are also allowed to earn and use rewards, and you can purchase the daily specials (like the $13 Mini-Pizookie meals) as well. I've been doing this for a number of shops (over 10 now), and I still have around $300 in gift certificates to use.

I always wonder why people take time out of their busy schedule to make pointless comments like the one you just made.
It’s a fair question. I’ll answer it with a question, from my point of view. Would the MSC/scheduler have replied as promptly? Or, at all? We usually have a good idea, based on experience, what the answer is to that.

These are terrible shops. You don't want to do them. I'll suffer and do them for you. I'm a glutton for punishment.

Yes. The guidelines state this and I've done so on multiple occasions.
I just need to say that this reminds me of an old thread on Volition about subject lines of MS emails having meanings other than intended smiling smiley
@CorrieCJ

Didn't Jerry Springer use a personal check for his BJ? He wishes he would have used a gift certificate instead.

Are they in your neck of the woods?

I can't determine if your post was tongue in check as in this is such an easy shop I'll take it. Or the shop sucks.

I'm guessing it's the first.

It's blatantly obvious that they were joking, LOL smiling smiley
I’ve been digging and can’t find these near me. Any hints?
Does anyone know: If you do the pizookie meal, can you do the $4 add on "starter" of chips and dip as your "appetizer" or do you have to add something from the "appetizer" section?
I order happy hour chips all the time. Much better than the normal $10 price.

Do you need to order appetizer since the pizookie meal already comes with the pizookie, which is the appetizer itself?
No you do not need to order a dessert as the one in the $13 meal counts but you should allow and report on what the server says about desserts to you rather than just bringing it to the table. They should ask. Also if you are eating in the dining room in those places with a bar you do not qualify for the chips add on which is usually only available when seated in the bar. If you have a sit in the dining room shop it is cheaper to just get the $13 meal with dessert included to satisfy that requirement. Also on the menu in hard to find print if you do not want the meal deal you can order just one scoop of ice cream for under $3 as your dessert.

That's what I thu, whenever I got assigned with the to-go I always ordered 2 pizookie meal to-go with no appetizer and it was never an issue for me, I know that dine in required appetizer and drinks but I always thu pizookie meal should cover everything since it comes with one already

Ha ha, I tried the to go but my fave is the all I can eat soup and salad for one meal a day so I dont need dinner or lunch in addition . Stuffed for the rest of the day. But you dont get all you can eat on the carry out. Just one of each. Anyone not wanting to eat fries on Burger day, you can sub out any of the sides like other potato or even one of the side salads for the fries. They are not refillable tho like the fries. The time I did that they brought me the fries anyway on the plate. I guess it was too hard to leave them off. I got a large side salad on a nice sized plate.

I do both to go and dine in, whenever I have to go, it will be 2 pizookie meal deal, that way I pay around 28+tax out the door in exchange for a $60 gift card, and keep on snow balling.

as for the dine in. I tend to go on Monday with my parents, that way I get to order their large pizza half off, and then we order a burger with sweet potato fries ( my parents love that) a size of salad, some appetizer and maybe one more soup or whatever, and we would usually have some leftover for next day, or at least some leftover pizza for next day breakfast, and they got to have their favourite ice cream treat as well.
Current guidelines don't say anything about ordering a dessert. "MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - YOU must order an Appetizer, Entree, and a drink other than water"
@mysterioso412

The requirements you posted are for the BAR COUNTER shop where you sit directly at the bar.

The dining room requirements are slightly different. i think you get the option of an appetizer or a dessert.

This is true but if you are trying to keep the price down so the gift card leftover is worth more the one scoop of ice cream is the best way to go if you sit in the dining room and do not order a meal deal.
