It's the one I shop for.
Its one of the biggest companies out there. You should already be signed up with them. They are talked about all the time.
For online orders ONLY:

"Order AT MINIMUM one bowl or plate of the entrée and side of your choice.
You may add additional items to your order, such as drink, appetizer, or customizations."
However, reimbursement is still at $11.00 maximum.

Drive-Thru & Dining in have the same requirements as they have had for the last few years.

@Morledzep better when you find someone else's receipt that has ordered several plates and drinks. use that receipt to get your rewards faster!

A rewards account can be closed for scanning someone else's receipt. It's against most TOS.

Technically speaking this is true. However.....

A word to the wise. I have never scanned someone else's receipt but my rewards account was shut down and it took me many e-mails and about 2 months to get it cleared up. They wouldn't tell me why but did eventually apologize and re-open the account. They do watch them.
I am willing to take the chance. So what if they shut down rewards account. You don't think you can start a new one and order on that one instead. If they were wise, they would not let you scan any points at all for shops since you are earning free food on top of the reimbursed food you are already ordering.

I scan all kinds of receipts for several places like Chipotle, Panda, BJ's brewhouse, etc. Someone else leaves "free money", i'm going to take it!

I couldn't care less what you do. To borrow a phrase from ShopperGirly, it's a word to the wise and those with ethics.

In my opinion, taking risks like that with cents of the dollar and food stamps on crappy food is super weird behavior. If there was anything of greater significance at hand, it makes me wonder what other personal ethics you might compromise.
unused receipts being left and not used by others is no different than people leaving money on the floor. are you saying you see a dollar bill on the ground and keep on walking? If i see who it belongs to, i obviously will tell the person, but if they don't care and leave it anyways, i'm not going to leave it for someone else to take.

if you want to judge me as unethical for using points to my advantage, then go ahead. i'm not going to change my behavior because you disagree with it.

i'm glad you are such a morally superior person to me and anyone else that will use free points when we have the opportunity.

Again ...

I couldn't care less what you do. To borrow a phrase from ShopperGirly, it's a word to the wise and those with ethics.

If you feel compelled to craft another reply, read the above.

Equating unredeemed receipts to cash left on the floor. I'll choose not to entertain this. Your reply further reinforces that you'd knowingly violate Terms of Service if it meets your personal rationale.

Isn't one of the report questions whether the associate mentioned the rewards program? I'm certain that's for the benefit of the paying customer. An unredeemed receipt goes unclaimed. Yes, in my opinion, it doesn't require moral superiority to leave the receipt alone. It doesn't belong to you.
"I knowingly violated the terms of service"? That is a beauty. I don't read all the verbiage when signing up for any rewards accounts whether it's Chipotle, Panda or whoever. I'm just another dumb american that scrolls past all the legal items and clicks "i agree" at the bottom. Maybe I need to go read the terms of service for my southwest airlines rewards as well as Freddy's steakburger and all the rest.

But thank you for reading it for me. Now that I know, I will stop doing it for Panda since I don't want to be a violator.
Again, I don't care what you do. I stated what I said for the benefit of others, not for your own benefit.

These binding documents are put into place for selective ignorance and true ignorance, as evidenced above. However, it's not needed for the vast majority.
@tznmvi

Since you are expert on the terms of service (that i don't read), if my spouse goes and orders separately, can i use her receipt? It is still my money although I was not the one at the register who was paying. How does that work? What about my 19 year old kid and the receipts since I fund that too? How does that work? I don't want to be a violator and you have read all the rules. Please fill me in. I'm trying to be a better person like you and want to know what to do in these situations.

I won't respond further. I've already made my point to those who honestly didn't know and are good-intentioned. Below is a quote from an earlier post you made. It speaks for itself.

I'm all about the deals like my buddy WB. I exploit deals to the maximum. I have multiple rewards accounts and when people leave receipts where places have rewards points, I will scoop them up and apply them to my accounts and earn rewards faster. I have been known to offer extra $ to servers for receipts from other tables that did not use rewards. I had one server bring me $200 in receipts one visit which was $20 in rewards and I gave him $10 for it. Figured I would grease the hands that took care of me to keep them coming on future visits.

It's alot easier when people bring you the receipts than having to scour for them or walk around the restaurant snapping pics of receipts laying on the tables.

Pre-covid...there was a group from us that would eat out every day at lunch. It was a fight to see who could get whatever loose receipts were laying around. One guy would go into the trash at chipotle and go past the elbow. I had the George Costanza "eclair rule" that hit had to be "hovering."

I don't want to upset Big Daddy as he is probably my best friend on here. smiling smileysmiling smiley: I don't always read the TOS on everything, either. And I don't care what you do with receipts. I was just letting everyone know that you CAN get your rewards account shut down. I had over 6000 points I was saving up. Although they did eventually re-instate my account, I probably lost 1000 during the escalation. ( And I did think about opening another account, but I kept thinking it would be resolved shortly.)

I think it is great they let us use our "free" meals for points and I use that at the end of the month when needed.I hope it doesn't change. Nevertheless, we don;t want to call attention to that, do we?

But, on a related, note, I worked for 2 very large companies in the past and handled billing escalations. Many times I have had to tell a customer "It was in the TOS agreement."
All I pointed out was that one's rewards account could be closed for scanning a stranger's receipt. ShopperGirly, as you stated in another thread, the defensive member could have just stated, "Thank you for bringing that to my attention."

It's why I don't go out of my way to help other members. I'll get attacked incessantly. People are more worried about their ego, being right, and saving face. It's not my job either to explain TOS to someone else. In my opinion, it's common sense.

Additionally, on this topic, I would like to add that I believe there are knowledgeable and savvy shoppers out there who read but choose not to further post and engage. For some, there is no incentive to share further and disclose anything identifiable if one's suggestions, experiences, and opinions are always met with resistance and doubt. There is no free exchange. In turn, the forum never actually grows or can support additional perspectives. Sadly, I don't blame these shoppers.

Let's put the points and receipt fiasco aside and back to the topic

So I just did the dine in shop during the weekend as I was doing the TY merchandising and happened to have one of the Panda in the same mall and I figured I can take the panda shop for free lunch (woot woot).

So it does looks like the "order as many as you and whatever you want but reimburse will remain at $11" thing only apply to to-go shops. Dine-in are still restrict to one bowl or one plate order only.
@howardcat wrote:

It was not saved, but submitted. I've done hundreds of these shops and I know the difference. I waited to get the message that it was submitted and I thought that was the end of it. I have no idea why it didn't go through.

I usually take a PDF of my submitted report.

Panda now at $11 reimburse instead of $10. Most the 2 item plates i get are in the high $10.60-$10.80 range, so that's nice I dont come out of pocket for the extra $1 now

At our 1 location in our little town, the plate including sales tax is now exactly $11.00.
How about that recent 50 cent bonus…?
