Rodizio

I see Rodizio on a board. Anyone have experience with this shop, comments on the report, etc?

I saw it too. Looks like they really only reimburse 1 person cost. So it's basically a bogo. I do like churrascarria places though. FdC and TdB are the big chains for this.

That's a big 'no thanks' from me for that reason. I'm not going alone. Pay for any required purchases, for two, plus compensation for my time and writing skills, or it's a no go for me.

Doing assignments since the days when reports were handwritten and faxed to the MSC.

That's what I thought, a single meal.
It only makes sense if you really want to go there anyways and were going to pay for all of it. I would consider a BOGO of TdB or FdC if it was with certain non-narrative intense MSCs.

I'm not claiming this is a narrative-intense MSC....but it's not a place i'm dying to go to.
I did one last month. The survey was not bad at all.

May I ask what's good to order?
Order? have you not been to TdB or FdC? There is no ordering.

A churrascaria is a Brazilian steakhouse that serves meat in a rodízio style, where waiters bring skewers of various grilled meats directly to your table and slice them onto your plate. The term comes from the Portuguese word for "barbecue". Diners typically pay a fixed price for unlimited meat, a gourmet salad bar, and side dishes, using a card with a green side to signal they want more meat and a red side to indicate they are full
And if there is a particular meat you want brought to your table, you can request it. We request certain cuts all the time @ FdC. This is by no means a light meal, slim pickings, nor frugal night out. smiling smiley
Nope, never been there. Hence the inquiry. Thanks gang for the feedback!

Seems like I'd look stupid dining alone. (Hey, I heard that) winking smiley

Hey... It wasn't me!

Sounds good..... Maybe if I see the shop I might try it... Even dine alone perhaps...and look uh you know....
I have seen people dine alone at FdC, especially for Sunday brunch. It is not quiet in these type of restaurants. There are so many people dining and many bringing around the meats, one after another. The noise level and energy is up a few notches.

@purpleicee
It's not quiet?

Do patrons ask for more like this, "Bring me more meat wench!" Meanwhile, should I wear attire like Mel Gibson in Braveheart and shake my sword and shield?

Just trying to get a feel for the place from your description. smiling smiley
They are pretty nice places. But, you know, people still do what they do, wear flip-flops, shorts, etc., but it really does not matter. Some people dress very nice. But it is loud because people are having a good time and excited to see the next offering. The servers are respectful.

Sorry, the atmosphere and attire is not like the Renaissance Faire. smiling smiley Also, you can usually get a great deal for their gift cards at Costco or on the website of the restaurant.
@purpleicee

yes, you can get the GC for FdC and TdB...not this location posting the rodizio that was inquired about. Also i don't know if the shop instrx even allow GC.
@purpleicee

Ah, you frown upon the typical American attire. I'm with you. When I started my travels to Europe I'd refrain from wearing shorts and sneakers. I don't wear clothes with sports teams, designer names / labels, flags, patterns, or text. A plain baseball cap and earth tones. Now I wear that same attire in the states.
Oh interesting. I have two of these near me but I haven't seen anything as far as jobs go.
