Wawa - $6 Meal Deal

Has anyone ordered the $6 Meal Deal? I asked a scheduler if it was okay to order and never heard back. I ordered and it was approved. Just wondering if anyone else took advantage of the deal.

I suppose your photo is of the "trifecta?"
Marg posts--I asked a scheduler if it was okay to order and never heard back.

Bob comments--As the question concerned a shop, the scheduler's silence, to me, would be unacceptable. I had this occur last week and the outcome was identical. I decided to not assign the shop and assign the scheduler's address to my SPAM folder. I do not tolerate discourtesies from company's workforce.

I actually completed a Wawa today, and the cashier asked if I wanted to add chips and a drink and it would be $2 cheaper for the meal deal than just the sandwich. I declined because I wasn't sure if it would be allowed. I emailed the scheduler, and within 5 minutes I received a reply. I was told to continue to decline the offer as the client wants to stick with the ordering guidelines.
I wonder if that was a different scheduler since @marg704 had their shop approved?
I had emailed the scheduler and she was supposed to get back to me. She still hasn't gotten back to me. Their guidelines have not been updated.
no new postings for next month. They may change the instructions

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009
I only see the app shops - salty/sweet snack purchase.
Per previous instructions, only entree item allowed, so I would assume no.
Forgive me…another hint about what is “Wawa?”
SBP, they tell me it's a gas station or truck stop or something along those lines. I've never seen one in person.
Wawa is a chain of convenience stores / gas stations that began in Wawa, PA (near Media, PA). They have a dominant presence in Southeastern PA, much of NJ, all of Delaware, and parts of Maryland. They leapfrogged to Florida and are now backfilling in DC, VA, AL, NC, OH, WV, GA, and OH. There are 1,100 stores. To my surprise, the greatest number are now in FL with 299 stores followed by New Jersey (293) and Pennsylvania (262).

Wawa is privately held, but 40% of the stock is now held by an ESOP. Some long term employees are very, very wealthy.

BTW, "Wawa" refers to the Ojibwe Native American word for “wild goose," thus their goose logo.

Um, go check your sources deeper. The ESOP only made a few employees wealthy. The ESOP has been manipulated by the original extended family and some employees were pushed to sell their shares and several lawsuits erupted.

"Wawa settled two class-action lawsuits, totaling over $46 million, because it allegedly forced former employees to sell their Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) shares at an unfair price in 2014-2015,"

I know an individual who was part of the lawsuit. As usual, the lawyers always win.
IMO, Wawa is the best of the convenience store/gas station brands....I've been to about a dozen locations and found them to be clean, well-lit, updated, good beverages and food not so bad, all things considered.
I know there are those who love Bucc-ees, but I think Wawa is better....again, all things considered....Bucc-ees might edge them out on restrooms though HAHAHA.
I also enjoy the Wawa shops when I'm in that region. Helps with road trips. Decent food for what folks would write off as a gas station/convenience store. They're mostly known for their hoagies (that's the regional name for their sub sandwich) and coffee. I see they've expanded to other fresh food offerings, but whenever I go, the sandwiches seem to rule the ordering.

I remember an SNL sketch way back where it was Colonial Americans boasting their victories against the British as The Eagles and The Patriots. Tina Fey (a local of the Philly area) brought food described as "Venison Hoagies, Porridge-Stuffed Peppers and Corn Fritters from Wawa. Wawa is an Indian lady that lives just outside of Conshohocken." You cant get more regional than that.

OK, So it’s an east coast thing … Lived most if my life on the east coast but never ran into one. Thanks for the intel.

It’s definitely not “Wally World” as immortalized by another SNL graduate ;-)

Correct me if I'm wrong for the truly regional folks out East, but in my Eastbound travels, I've come across Wawa vs Sheetz mostly in PA. If you split the state down the middle, Western PA is primarily Sheetz and Wawa is on the Eastern side. Then you get a smattering of Turkey Hill, Royal Farms and Cumberland Farms as you enter the New England area.

Each has their own specialty for food like sandwiches and then Royal Farms has fried chicken while Turkey Hill has decent ice cream. I remember reading an article in a local news feed about a Sheetz being built across the street from a Wawa in a Philadelphia suburb and its causing controversy.
scottsteg, you got it....and IMO, Royal Farms has the best fried chicken lol.
I recall Sheetz from my drives through West Virginia....
Turkey Hill ice cream is sold in the grocery stores around here...
but as far as convenience stores, people here in NY flock to Stewarts convenience stores.
