5 men Shake

Shake prices have increased to $6.99. The $5.50 allowance does not cover the cost.

Drat! I just picked one up without looking. Well, it's a nice discount. Would I pay $7 for a shake? Never. $1.50 to $2? Maybe!
Drat! I just looked at this thread thinking I'd see 5 men shake! So disappointed!

Shake shake shake...Shake shake shake...
I agree that $7 seem outrageous, but where are you able to purchase a shake for $1.50-$2? Most places sell shakes for $4-$5. Jaggers sells great shakes and their small is $3.99.

I'll skip the shake, in a few weeks we'll be back in Europe where I can get my preferred double scoop gelato for around $6.
This MSC company keeps getting cheaper and cheaper.
i believe they allow unlimited toppings at 5G, maybe that is why they price their shakes more than most.

I do agree that the MSC should cover the cost of the shake since that is a fixed cost.

I can understand that they don't cover the cost of the biggest, most loaded burger because as you add toppings like bacon, cheese, etc, it can drive up the price more.

and the burger prices keep going higher and higher - who the hell could afford to eat there as a regular customer!

I ask myself every time I go! If I only get the little burger, little fry, and regular drink and it is over $18, so now I get the grilled cheese to stay under. I assume the majority of diners are ordering a more expensive burger at the least. Seriously, who eats there?

My area doesn't offer the combo, so there is no way to even get the little burger, little fry, and regular drink for under budget, so if I want to stay under I have to get the grilled cheese. Ridiculous.
My visits were closer to almost $22. Now they are at around $19.50 and that is the 2 patty cheeseburger. I don't mind "coming out of pocket" for $2 to get what I want. I'm not taking the shops for under $20. So I still net $18 and i would not net that much doing 2 panda express shops.

That makes sense if you like the food. The regular cheeseburger here would be over $22, but I don’t eat it anyway so I just order to stay under budget. But, it’s a burger place so you would expect the budget to cover the least expensive burger, which it doesn’t. (I know it is area dependent). Is what it is!
I usually get the Little burger and cut it in half with spouse. The reimbursement covers it the last time I went.

I'm trying not to increase my BMI and get ridiculed here and by JFK Jr. LOL We don't wanna be fatties. Or need an electric cart at the grocery store. BTW, I've NEVER seen the use of those electric carts for obese people in Western Europe. Rant over... smiling smiley
