I have been shopping for a particular company since 2008. They do financial shops- banks and credit unions. I am reliable and always do good work. Issue is earlier this year I did a shop for them and I made a mistake. I was pressured by a banker to the point of feeing I was being harassed which I indicated on the report- and I not paid for the shop which was fine. Since then I have received notices of similar shops from them and when I apply without exception the application is removed from my shop log without any explanation. I have even been in contact with schedulers who ask me to apply then when I do, the application is simply removed. It has extended to other shops phone rather than on on site shops. I receive notices asking me to do the shop and when I apply I never hear anything back from them- application is removed. Yes I made a mistake on ONE shop. I have done over 1000 shops for this company over the years and one mistake which resulted in non payment screwed me up. For the shop I made a mistake on, I was not paid I lost 4 hours of my time driving, doing the shop and coming home issuing a report. I got nothing for doing that it is not like they paid me and lost out. . Seems that was enough of a punishment. I am to the point of deactivating myself as I do not want to see job offers which result in having me apply and then have the application removed. Seems they are toying with me- and I am not happy. Seems loyalty since 2008 means nothing to this company.

The whole concept of IC (independent contractor) means no loyalty.

I'm going to take a stab and guess it is ATH? This happened to a buddy of mine as well. He did not make a mistake on a shop, but someone he did something they did not like, so I would tell him a shop is out there where he lives and he would apply and his application was always deleted.

Application removed could mean they have assigned the job to someone else. Have you email them and asked for detail? One thing you need to know is that the email that they send for "Job offer" is more of less a mess email list, not specifically targeted, meaning they just screen for all people with dedicated zip and just mass sending email hoping for someone to click apply.

As in why you may not be chosen...It could actually be that you have been id'ed by client as secret shopper by their staff so client told MSC that they can't use you anymore. Email and ask for detail and MSC would most likely give you more insight.
