Has anyone ever purchased alcohol for their in store purchase? I'm looking over the guidelines and I can't seem to find anything that says no, but maybe I'm missing it??

That's a pretty standard rule. I sure wouldn't put myself in a position to not get paid for the job for something so glaringly obvious.
Most shops specify no alcohol or lotto but not this one. I wouldn't. Anyway, you can get alcohol much cheaper at Walmart.
I miss California and being able to buy spirits in grocery stores. But ya know what, having to go to a package store deters me from buying alcohol a LOT. I've been into ONE package store here in almost 10 years.
I wonder if the receipt would tell if the purchase was alcohol or not? I noticed with many of my fuel station purchases, the CSR seems to size me up and NOT scan the product I am getting, they key in some random price and usually it also triggers "High Tax."

But, yeah, like others have stated, most guidelines prohibit that product, but who knows if it could be successfully challenged. They may let it slide and then re-do the guidelines. Go ahead, buy that PBR or a High Gravity, LOL
Oh, yeah. This MSC is notorious for its incomplete or inadequate guidelines. If I tried it and the report got rejected, I would definitely fight it!
But wait until you are sober, so your complaint does not sound like a pirate wrote the correspondence.
I do know that the Travel center shops for intelli-shop allow you to buy alcohol and tobacco if you would like. The max reimbursement is $5, so you wouldn't be able to buy much. I don't do it for two reasons. First, I don't drink very often, and when I do, it's really something high-end. Second, I just don't think it's very professional. I have done a convenience store shop where they encourage you to buy alcohol or tobacco to see if they check your id. It's not required, but it makes the purchasing optically more professional.
