Please no more Jersey Mike's

I must live in a sea of locations because the board is just clogged with them. I don't like the no pay (reimbursement only), but I've done a couple, and enough already! How many bad pictures of their stupid slicer do they need??

Wish there were a way to filter JM's out. Same thing used to happen with a frozen dessert place near me way back when there was a different platform, and I somehow permanently deleted that client from ever appearing in my feed - wish I could do that again.

I love the required description, in 2 or 3 sentences, how I would recommend the store to family and friends. I try to be original every time, but am running out of creative ways to answer that one.

Man, I hear you....tons of those shops on the board. The weird thing is that the MSC goes like this:

Week1-5; no bonus; reimbursement only
Week 6-10; no bonus; reimbursement only
Week 11 on Monday; $30 bonus plus reimbursement

You'd figure it would be a gradual ramp-up on the bonus. Regardless, love the sandwiches and always look forward to the nice bonus/reimbursement for something I love. But yeah...they are vigorous in terms of the number of projects.

With this MSC, in my region, if I filtered out the Jersey Mikes, all that would be left is a storage place 50 miles away and a couple of pet food stores.

Yeah, back in the spring I was able to get $15-$20 bonuses on a fairly regular basis. Now it just seems to be reimbursement only across the board, so no thanks. I work for money, not food.
I do them as an add-on when I have another shop nearby. (Same as I do Sonic). Keeps my hubby fed. I eat very healthy and light. Being retired, food is my no. 1 expense besides medical and I keep my OOP food expenses very low. After you do a few, they are really easy. I point my phone to where I need a photo and then look up at the menu while I snap smiling smiley
It wouldn't even be so bad if they would remove all the fluff in their titles. I try to scroll and catch key words but it's extremely difficult when it says things like next to Wingstop or besides KFC. Then I stop and I'm like woah a new shop! Nope. Psych.

I know! It's confusing and makes it longer to scroll. They probably did it because shoppers were going to the wrong restaurant thinking it was a different one in the same city.
I feel sorry for the person who had to imput all of the location data for the JM's. What a boring job!
In some parts of NJ, there are JMs within blocks of each other on the same road. I believe that there are 5 in Toms River, 4 in adjacent Brick, and 2 in adjacent (and tiny) Pt Pleasant where it all began. I thought the number of Wawa stores in parts of Delaware County, PA made things confusing, but JM in parts of NJ takes the cake.

I have never ever seen a bonus on those shops. 11 weeks on the boards is unheard of here. I get emails from them often with lists of shops supposedly within 30 miles but the range is usually 15 miles to 120 miles or so from my house. Never a bonus on any of them. Sub shops and juice shops mostly with reimbursement for one item only. But they do often get MAX reimbursement. Since I don't do the ones that are a few blocks from my house why would I drive all that way to do one that is leftovers for them? I guess someone takes them as they still have the contract.

Sure are no bonuses I've ever seen! Even when you get the email at the end of the month saying 'be a hero and take these crappy shops' they still just have the $15 reimbursement only and not a penny more. I'd love to do these for a $30 bonus, and there are so many near me that I can't believe they're all filled. In fact there's one in the local airport that almost certainly never gets taken, and even that they won't bonus.
There are always a ton on the board here and I have never seen a bonus.
I’m really tired of the same lo/no pay postings on ISS and the endless repetitive AAA’s on otter.

I don’t even check anymore…even if the otter app decides to open.

Time to diversify…
I will do the one near my house for no bonus because it's only about 10 minutes of actual effort and I have a book to read. But I pick up bonuses when I am traveling around the region for other reasons. I've had good luck with locations 25-50 miles outside of Raleigh-Durham with bonuses in the $25-40 range.

I'm heading to Asheville in a few weeks to see the Biltmore Christmas exhibits, and there's one halfway that I have my eye on as a lunch stop on my drive out if they add a bonus by then.
Oh how I miss living in NC... used to live in Holly Springs. So beautiful

Have never done one, there are sooo many. Have never seen a bonused one either. I also stopped doing their yogurt shops which I kind of enjoyed but now they want a pre-recorded phone call and still for no pay. c'mon

What I do sometimes is hit End on the keyboard and/or scroll to the first red block ("I'm Interested"), which is the end of the open shops. I then hit Ctrl+F and search for Dinner, Lunch, etc., as the JM shops are "Visit with Purchase."
I'll be the contrarian and say please more Jersey Mike's shops! I do about 3-4 on average a month and would do more if I possibly could. The shops are easy enough that it does not feel bad that the pay is low and my family loves the sandwiches so we never get tired of it. The only downside is the lack of hot subs but I get those with the all the free subs I earn with points from doing more shops!
Get a mini ham & provolone and whatever hot one you want... go over by a few dollars but if you were going to spend $$$ there anyway then it's worth it. I've done that a few times when my husband wants the portobello mushroom one.

The one thing I like about Sights-on-Sound's in-house platform is the ability to permanently filter out particular projects. Wish the MSC doing JM had that option.

I would have to be paid in the $1,000s if not $10,000s to eat JM. Absolutely awful sandwiches, but then what else would one expect from a chain?
Surprise of surprises, two with bonuses popped up in reasonable proximity to me, a $30 one and a $25 one. Grabbed them while I could.

You may not have to worry. Seems like no more JM shops starting December.
Email said client going in a different direction.

Apparently an email just came out minutes ago indicating they’re moving to another MSC and all December scheduled shopped have been removed!! Where are they going?
Actually, the e-mail says they are going in a different cadence after the first of the year. I don't think they will be gone completely. Maybe just fewer.
I’m hoping the Jimmy John’s that’s about to open in my town hires a MSC!
I got email from schedule today that JM for December were posted by mistake.

"We have made an error in posting these Jersey Mike's in December. The client is going to have a new cadence next year. You Jersey Mike's shops that are assigned in December will be deleted, please do not move forward with completing them."

My December shops were indeed removed.

For anyone on the Coastal areas of Monmouth and Ocean Counties in NJ, there are a lot of November JM shops still available. Alas, none near where I now live.

The email doesn't say that JM is leaving the MSC, so we will see what happens.
