PF Chang's

Interesting to see this pop up on the Jersey Mike's reimbursement only MSC. Only one of four nearby locations for this round. $80 reimbursement, which is maybe possible if you stick to sodas and probably not doable if you get alcohol. Two entrees, one app or dessert, two drinks. Someone else grabbed a location with no free parking which is fine by me. I remember when they were shopped a while ago by the MSC that does high-end resorts.

I did it years ago with the Knee company and it was a real Pain in the Knee. I like the food but can't see staying under the re either. At least my location has free parking.
I think I tried one of those once upon a time.. but I don't really remember. I do remember seeing them in the list of shops and thinking I wanted to do one.
This is one of those chains that I believe should be shopped - when some locations lag far beyond the others in terms of quality....makes me leery to visit any that I've haven't visited before.
I wonder if these are franchised....
all it takes is a few locations to damage the whole brand.

20 years ago I did a one and done. A lot of hype about meh food and average service. What I'll never forget is the mold on the cheesecake. Never again. Certainly wasn't worth the time and effort to write up the shop report!
There's a company that goes by 3 letters, which is the same as the 3 letters for a ligament in the knee, that's commonly injured. This injury is more common in girls and sports with a lot of twisting motion like basketball and soccer.
I tore mine cheerleading in high school and many subsequent sports injuries making it worse..open leg surgery..no arthroscopicy back in the day...12 inch long scar..sorry off topic

You are thinking of the Anterior Cruciate Ligament.
I'm thinking it's regional, I didn't see any (available for assign or waitlist) in SE Florida
I did one years ago and it was a hard report to write--not because the guidelines and report were that difficult, but when so many things go wrong that need to be commented on--it's going to be a long night! It wasn't worth my time since not only were the service and cleanliness so poor, but the food was less than mediocre. We only have the one location in our area and I will not be going back there, never again.
I did one recently for a different MSC. I think perhaps they are shopping around. The experience was truly awful. But, I did see ways to stay under budget, it absolutely is possible. You just may be still hungry when you depart. On the back of the menu are some dinner specials that include appetizers. And tea is a lot cheaper than cocktails.

It's easy to stay under budget with the new menus they have been advertising. I have done two from the high-end msc in the past and the report was easy but the food was more expensive back then.

I find this a frustrating thing about mystery shopping. The worse time you have during the shop, the more you suffer while doing the reporting since there is so much more to write when service or food is bad..
I feel ya re the frustration. fwiw, providing feedback regarding those experiences is valuable and crucial.

I hear you - but the test of how valuable and crucial it is - is established by the client and reflected in how much they are willing to pay. My thoughts may be up for controversy, but they don't pay us to care either way IMO, for the most part.
