It seems strange. Over many years I have definitely uploaded duplicate photos, accidentally, of course. Especially with Shell, after uploading 30 to 60 pictures per report, I have no interest in trying to find out which one it is at the time so I submit anyway. And Presto sure isn't telling. I have never had a report rejected because of it. Always, the editor will send it back to me stating what the problem is. Normally, I did something stupid like uploading pump 4 in the slot for pump 4 and then also again in the slot for pump 5 because I didn't see the correct number on the tiny phone screen. I fix it. They approve it. Done. Never a rejection for that particular issue.
To the best of my recollection, it is only the BP/Amoco shops that specifically require a unique photo for each problem area that you find.
I believe that it is the platform's app that defaults to the error message of duplicate photos.
So, much like sestrahelena, when that error message shows up, I simply ignore it - unless, of course, the message arises on a BP shop.
Also, with regard to BP shops, I typically take 3 full photos of the fuel dispenser and 3 photos of each pump from the pop/crind down to the island that includes the bollards.
One never knows what the editor demands!
