Thanksgiving break from editing?

I haven't had any shops edited or approved since Monday of last week.. Not for any company. I get that lots of folks are away visiting family and stuff. But the entire editing crew of 4 or more MSC's all at the same time?

I stay home for Thanksgiving weekend to avoid getting hit, or dead. I like my car, and I'm pretty sure, at least most of the time, that I like being alive.

But you don't need to go out and brave bad traffic and stoopid people to edit shops, especially simple shops that have only one or two pics and zero narrative.

I have had MANY shell, marathon & a few ExxonMobil approved the last few days. Even had a **frustrating** editor emailing on Thanksgiving.

I have close to $300 worth of Marathons waiting to be edited since Saturday and Sunday last week. The other gas stations from last weekend have been edited and are approved, but not the ones I really need done.

Just added it up, since Thanksgiving I've had $375 approved. Those shops were actually completed on 11/19.

My son it out doing gas stations right now. He had a route of 6, he found one that closes at 19:00 on sunday, but it's open until Midnight on all of the other nights.. of course, he got there at a little after 21:00.

Now he's trying to lie to me about the last two shops, tried to tell me that they aren't open either and he wants to come home. It just cold outside.

We got hit with about 8 inches of snow and this week it's not going to be above 25. I have one day planned this week, and then I'm done until the new year. Unless something amazing pops up. Just a few little random food shops local. No actual routes.

Well editing is going really fast now.

And I have to agree on holiday traffic. It's not just that there is more of it, but so many of the drivers out there rarely drive on the highway, and they think they are the world's greatest drivers when really it's the opposite. Zooming in and out of lanes without really getting anywhere.
