Do they have a special pita sandwich promo maybe?
I don't think that is the reason for the name, as I am seeing the same term used for Pressed Juicery shops right now, too.
I think that's for their record keeping to categorize a subset, means nothing to an IC completing the job.And yes, the same term is used on tasks for other clients which further supports that it's their term, not the client's. I have seen another use "PROMO" on shops for a contract they were trying to land.
I did a Blaze pizza "pocket shop" earlier this year. On the shop guidelines they said something to the effect that pocket shops were shorter than regular shops. I don't know why JM would be posted like this if that's the case. They look like the same shop postings they've had all year for JM. I agree it also is probably just how the MSC categorizes the shop and doesn't mean much to the shopper.
Pocket Shops are shorter. Some that I have done were designed to be completed by answering questions in a text message, but I think they are different now. For Jersey Mike's it is probably the same. They are probably just promoting it differently to get more suckers to do those shops for free since there are so many locations and many sit on the board for a long time.
I did one a few days ago that had a $10 bonus and was 3 miles from my house. The report form was shorter.
