Postal Shops

What’s the most you have gotten for a postal shop? There are a few that are a bit of a distance from me they keep asking me to do and I’d like to know what the ceiling is I can ask for them. Thank you in advance.

I suspect they can't give anything more than what is shown. At least, offering has never been successful for me. They'll call and call to recruit, though.. Good luck! Let us know if you succeed.
From the previous MSC, I used to get $30 - $60 per shop.. I didn't do a lot of them, because we had to wait till the end of the quarter to get the highly bonused shops. But they started out at $12 and reimbursed $15 for the shipping, and reimbursed for the supplies too. Those days are gone, and I no longer do shipping shops.
I can't get but $15 for hazmat and up to $25 on regular.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.
$25 is the max they will go. You can tell them to stop calling and to either text or email. The calls are too much, especially since they are calling from a call center and they dial repeatedly until someone answers. I had to ask them a few times to stop, and now they just text.
They will continiue to call even you ask, I started block the numbers without any luck. When I need to send something to my family I am picking them up regardless of pay.

Shopping Eastern Pennsylvania since 2009

With the current company, I haven't received more than $30 for hard to fill locations. One of the reasons I keep my VOIP home phone is so I don't have to give companies like this my cell number, since the call center calls every single day for locations that are hundreds of miles from me, offering $15.

Same here....this MSC just doesn't get my interest for these shops anymore. I used to do a lot of them, some nicely bonused. No more.
Same. I used to have a joke with my sister and brother-in-law, that I was sending their monthly subscriptions (the goodies I would ship them that weighed a pound or slightly less). I had to cancel the subscription and they just will get what I can when I can. Not with this current MSC, though.
I have to beg for a bonus. They list $5 fee, plus reimbursement up to $15. I have a few callers that finally do not offer me hazmat as I have said REPEATEDLY I will not do those. I have never received more than $15 which is a $10 bonus plus the fee. you who have received more must have a golden touch.
I had to escalate to Jason Bare to get the contact center calls to stop. You can try that. The calls are out of hand. I was getting 20-30 a day, and I work full time.
I sent a few holiday packages hazmat this year. Laptop battery scenario because I sent early enough that ground was OK. My family didn't notice or did but assumed it was just me doing something weird again (they're used to it). The bonus was at $10 so my total cost to ship was covered even though I was shipping across country and 3+ pounds at a time. Shipping packages I actually need to ship on their dime is the only motivation for me to do them.

Yeah. This is 100% "on me" for doing this but I was raised in a household where you didn't talk about insignificant things like money, feelings, failing grades, or what you wanted to do with your life. So as an adult, I often don't go into detail about why I drop a subscription or like in this case, why I don't do a particular mystery shop. One day one of the people from the MSC gave me a call about the postal shops. I guess I had an unguarded moment or something and I flat out said, "they don't pay enough any more." Haven't heard from them again since. And to think inside of 18 months ago, I was making a very nice consistent income from the "other" MSC with triple digit fees for shipping a box. Just goes to remind me that this is money...it's not income.
When they call me I tell them I am out of town. That generally stops them from calling as they say they'll put that in their notes on when I will return. It seems to work.
Just did my last one for 2025 today. Got $20 for it.
It all depends on the location. If it's a location that is regularly shopped then they're not going to pay a lot. But if it's a location in the middle of nowhere that doesn't get assigned often then they will pay more.
