I started last week with no shops thie week but will close the year out with a 5 Guys, 3 Panda, and a $20 bonused Sonic. Goodbye, 2025. Hello! 2026

It's been super dead the past few days (even my battery died), so I picked up a AAA shop. I also picked up a bonused smartphone shop as well as one of the infamous "pocket shops." I hope 2026 rolls in with a bigger bang!

I got a couple nicely bonused electronics shops for "non-samsung android" because I use a Google Pixel phone, still to be done, and a bonused Pepboys tire rotation, which seems strange to me, but I can work with it.

I also started filling out January with some quick C-store shops that pay ok for the time they take and reimbursement more than covers the required purchase. All I need is some other shops to make it worth leaving the house.

I missed some things, had to let some things go because I ran out of time, but I made out pretty good in December.

Had a slow December. Citgo fees to low to travel, and new competition on other gas shops. New Whataburger shops helped fill some gaps. Month's not over yet, maybe Monday will bring something new.

But I still had a decent year overall, I guess. Made record high fees, but with way more travel and expenses. So I didn't really make any more in profit, and the profit I did make buys less.

This is the thing....gas may be down, but energy costs are up.....and that drives everything.
so lots of other costs as well.
I might need to encourage my sister not to sell her land, we may end up farming our own food eventually lol, omg.

Today is Dec 30. Two shopping days left and one of them is a half day. Got an email from several companies about leftover shops with absolutely no bonuses added. One company had a bonus.

I think I did my last 3 shops for the year today, unless something just pops up for tomorrow. A bonused post office shop, a fairly nice bonus on an Exxon, and a not so great bonus on a Citgo. Goodbye 2025, hello 2026!

I made 1103 individual site visits in 2025. Each visit paid anywhere between $2 and $400.
The $2 visits were about 10 stops where I did the quick "take a photo" for Fotopay when I was driving right past the location. The $400 was the initial fee for a credit card sign up that I did for Mintel.
Ok, I guess 4 of the individual visits I didn't really visit anywhere, as I did those from home (like the Mintel job I just mentioned). Oh, and 1 visit I got paid zero for because the shop was rejected. I did an "easy" job on the Premise app for some yogurt brand, but it ended up taking 5x (easily) longer than promised, so I just took some random pics and submitted it knowing it would be rejected.
In 2024 I did 1258 individual site visits, so 2025 was a bit less in both number of visits and in revenue.

You did great if you only had one reject out of 1100!!! I think I did about 471. I eat out a lot and did about 40 of the 7-11s. I also did car washes, other convenience stores maybe 50. I really miss the Canes and the worthwhile Sonics.

p.s. to enquiring minds- I am down about 30 lbs from last year.
