Question about accepting shops

Hello,

Yesterday evening, I noticed there were two shops that I was perhaps interested in, a lunch Moe's and a dinner Chik Fil A for today. However, the shops had to be completed wihin 10 hours of accepting. If I would have accepted when I saw them, it would have been too early.

I checked this morning and they were both gone. I am assuming these shops are popular so I guess I'm wondering if people set their alarms for the middle of the night to grab them? Lol. Or do they just accept them and then complete the shop outside of the 10 hour requirement?

I suspect some people claim stuff to keep others from getting it and then they will wait for their timer to expire and claim it again. You cannot just do the shop outside the window of opportunity, they won't pay you for that. But the system definitely has room for manipulation if you are determined to get that shop.
I'm sure someone somehwere is setting their alarm to claim shops in the middle of the night. There is a lot of competition for some of the more popular shops. But it's more likely they just woke up 10 minutes earlier than you. The 10 hour requirement is very strict, and you will lose the shop even if you already did it and hit the Submit button one second too late.
I woke up and claimed that Moes ASAP. Yum.. it was good!
I claimed Chic Fil A at 6:52am and will need to complete before 4:52pm today to stay within the 10 hour window for a 4pm-7pm shop. To answer your question, the early bird gets the worm.
Do you have a hint on how to get Chic fil A shops?
I accepted a Moe’s and Chick fila last night at midnight for dinner today and they were both gone from my list this morning. I don’t understand why they don’t give you 24 hours, it’s frustrating
My son got a Whataburger dinner, said it's really simple. But it was already too late for me to get a dinner shop before the deadline. I hope there is something left before I go out on Monday. As long as I don't get stuck with Chik fil a.
Go on the app that has a gopher as a mascot.

why don't they make these 24 hours? Less than 12 hours ago there were 3 available, and within 10 hours of the shop they were all gone. I guess it's also possible they met their quota in other parts of the country. I hate missing out on unicorn shops *sob*
My first paragraph will be a statement of fact.

When I entered the business in the Spring of 2003, my due dates for assignments ran from 3 to 45 days, with Cheddars being 45. After a period I do not recall, dates began shortening. The shortest I have encountered was 2 hrs. from Trendsource.

My second paragraph deals with why and is an opinion.

MSCs theorized ultra short times would reduce flakes; companies were aware desperate shoppers would comply. It is similar to the Arab:camel requirement of a dozen + pics without an increase in pay; in 2007, I was paid $5 A pic.

From a business standpoint, I do NOT criticize any company from paying as little as possible. My personal thought, though, is 180 degrees out-of-phase.
The shops keep vanishing and reappearing here so I guess a lot of people are confused or hoping to keep others from claiming so they can get it later. I claimed one for a closed shop fee knowing that the place is gone and debranded. They said thanks for the information but there's no pay for that.

BTW, I only did it because it was on my way to another place and the timing worked out. I knew it wasn't going to be open, it's been gone for a while.

Are all WAB'S and CFA shopped or it just depends on what part of the country you are from?
