Any Thoughts?

Hello and good morning.

I was out today doing a Sonic stall shop doing my fifteen minute “hold” after getting my food. I saw this guy..not dressed in Sonic gear...sort of on the young side--30’s maybe. He walked right up to the menu in front of the drive-through line and took. photo with his phone. He then took a photo for the drive-through area. He then took several pictures of the menu board. While I was leaving, he was pulling down window clings.

Any idea what company does this sort of thing?

The app is either field agent, Gigwalk, or observa. I can't remember which one I saw it on. It doesn't pay but like $2 or $5.

Shopping Arkansas, Louisiana, & Mississippi.

Are you sure you have to stay 15 minutes after getting your food? I know that is the 5G requirement with the same MSC.

I just did one recently. This is what it read on the instrx sheet. "You will be ordering "for here"--not "to go." Plan to spend at least 15 minutes at the location to evaluate cleanliness and to eat
your meal."

I do not read that the same way 5g is with 15 minutes AFTER receiving your order.
It's been a little while since I've done a Sonic shop, but there was no mention of 15 minutes after getting your food. For a while they said to stay, take the pics of the food and the receipts, and wait 10 minutes to see if anyone checks back to see if you need anything, but even that had been removed from the guidelines before the last shop I did. They no longer expect their car hops to check back to offer assistance or anything. I don't see why you can't just take your pictures, and drive away, there is nothing left to evaluate by that point, or there shouldn't be.

I read it as being 15 minutes after getting the food regardless. I'm not bothered by it. Way back in the early auts they were explicit about the time after food was received...the car hops are/were supposed to come out with a "smile tray" as I recall.

I couldn't agree more.

But I'm not too concerned either way.
I don't remember if I've done any of the new shops, but I had gotten into the habit of doing the report on site, and that usually ate up the 10 minutes. And I would probably wait 10 minutes regardless, because that MSC has a habit of leaving things out of new guidelines and expecting you to just know.
I have done quite a few of the newer reports (Bonused only).I always make sure my total time onsite is at least 15 min. I have had quite a few issues with my photos ( apparently the editors don't know how to make a photo larger). At some of the locations it is not possible to get a clear view of the sign on top unless you are parked across the street or next door. And the nightime photos tend to be blurry, so I spend a lot of time adjusting my camera, etc, but I do send good, clear photos. It can be frustrating.
