3 night resort stay-sales evaluation questions

To my knowledge most time share presentations do not reward the attendee with completely free accommodations for 3+ nights.
I've never completed one of these shops as they don't interest me. I've briefly scanned the overview but never invested time in the actual guidelines. I own Disney Vacation Club and choose to vacation via those points.
I was out of town last summer, traveling to Wisconsin Dells for 4 nights (NOT vacation). I looked into a time share presentation to help defer my hotel cost for the trip.
1. I did not find one that offered a free room in exchange for attendance.
2. The discounted rate was only for a few nights, not the length of my stay.
3. The availability was super limited, I wasn't able to book a presentation offer even though I called about 2 months in advance.
Maybe my experience isn't typical as I've only this one experience to base my opinion on.

Years ago, they offered a shopper's fee. Over the year, they took away the fee. The point is, if you go to a Hilton for a 3-night stay, you would pay anywhere from $129 (Orlando, NC, LV, etc.) to much higher, $800+ for Hawaii. The attraction is that I get the 3-night fee paid for, and you are free to enjoy your "vacation." I've completed quite a few of them, and I find the presentation (recorded) easy to complete...all I'm saying is, No, No, No to multiple reps. I've completed stays in LV, FL, and HI. I plan to do more in the future.

I've done them. They are not hard. Most of the time they are not 3 hours either. There is reimbursement for mileage (traveling), you get a nicer stay than a typical hotel room. Some of these resorts are very classy places.
But if you are not comfortable doing them, then don't do them. They do not struggle to fill these shops. You get to keep whatever "gift" the resort is offering you to go (since they are not aware you are a shopper). Could be $ or cheaper events/excursions depending on the location.

This shop is easy peasy. Kimberly and David are great to work with. Yes, it's true they used to offer a fee, but the value is still great, even without the fee.
