TEXAS ROADHOUSE: Why are these begging to be filled?

I know they are the same ownership (txrh/bubbas33). I specifically said it's a newer concept for them. I was giving chipotle/qdoba as a number of locations comparison.

We do the early bird special or share something. We’ve shared the full rack of ribs or a steak combo. It comes in around reimbursement amount.

Right now there are lots of grocery stores with gift card promos. TXRH allows payment with GC so we’ll buy one or more for them and the bonus coupon(s) (free coupons) will be our payment.
right now on TXRH website, it's $10 for every $50 you buy. If you do 1 every month or one every other month, you can still buy 6 GC and have a free $60
Sometimes Kroger will have digital coupons for 200 bonus fuel points when you purchase certain gift cards. That occasionally includes Texas Roadhouse, and often One4All. Get the full 35 gallons of gas and that's like $7 back in gas right there. You'll also get the regular fuel points on top of it (2X or sometimes 4X). I usually buy the bare minimum (generally $25) for these cards. Occasionally I have a Chase offer for Kroger, so I'll get that too (such as 5% back up to $4.50, so I buy $90 worth of gift cards and groceries). Then add in my usual cash back on the credit card to begin with.

Aldi will occasionally have gift card deals, and one of them is for a card similar to One4All. In this case, it's normally $100 and comes loaded with $105 in value. But then on sale they'll have it for $85. There are no fuel points here, but it's a nice discount for sure.
We don’t get fuel rewards in NJ. Only place we do is BJs when they run the “spend $150 in one transaction and save .50 a gallon” type of deal. That one just started per my email. Not sure why that one works, maybe because it is locked to the specific transaction.

Btw, if you ever do the ones at acme/safeway/vonn’s, etc where you get 4x or 10x points, call for your extra points. Terms say you get 2 points per dollar. So 10x should be 20 per dollar. They treat it as 10 per dollar. Nope, I view 10x as 10 times normal so it is 20. I call everyone and get them to issue the extra points.

I once bought 4 x $50 cards for an already scheduled shop. It was one of those weeks where the reward was $10 for $50+ in xyz cards. Did 4 transactions (limit is 1per transaction, not per customer). Then called for my correct 10x points. Ended up with 4000 points which was enough for $67 in rewards, $40 in coupons (4 x $10) and 5% on my credit card as my bonus category for $10. So $117 on $200 purchase that was fully reimbursed. They no longer have the $20 reward available. Very sad about that.
