New Presto App

Is anyone having trouble accessing the profile section in the updated app? I can see the listing of my Sassie companies, but if I try to click on the shop logs or job boards, the links are dead.

I wish they hadn't changed it. It's difficult to navigate.
I gave up on it and just deleted it. I will miss the visa compliance shops.
You can still use it via a browser.

One big plus to the new app: Mascot confirmed!

I get a little "New otter news" pop-up window...

Why does everybody think that apps are the be-all and end-all of electronic access? In most cases, a company's website works just fine and contains the same amount of information as their app. And you can block the marketing cookies. Plus, my phone and computer will remember website passwords for me but the phone seems to have no function to remember app passwords unless I trade in my eyeballs and fingerprints. Hell no.

My bank forced me to use their app because it does not approve of any of the browsers I use for the website. It kicked me out.
It's effectively mirroring The Blob's ongoing issues with guidelines being misbranded. When they suck, they suck hard...

Well, Once upon a time I had MobiAudit on my phone and put all of my shopmetrics companies in there. But Ipsos decided to separate themselves from the rest and made their own version of MobiAudit that didn't work well. So I deleted Ipsos' version of the app and went to just using the website on the phone and the tablet.

After a couple phone changes and I still hadn't reloaded the other shopmetrics websites back into MobiAudit, I decided not to bother putting it on the next phone. So for all shopmetrics websites I use the browser website.

And now, with the screwups and user unfriendliness of this version of the Presto app, it's easier for me to just use the browser website on all of my devices. I don't have any intention of fighting with that app for 2 hours to make it work at every single shop.
I love MobiAudit! I only use it for reporting but it works so beautifully. I miss being able to use it for Marathon & Citgo!

MobiAudit has never given me any issues at all. I wished companies would use this app more. I am noticing a lot of companies have left Gigspot, which was a headache. I would like to use Sassie if it would save in real time instead of having to keep scrolling down to hit save.

Shopmetrics companies don't have the option to 'opt out' of Gigspot...
I soooooo wish Sassie companies could use MobiAudit!

I agree tha Mobiaudit is awesome but, like Moreled said, each time you change a phone you have to re-enter all the companies manually. How stupid is that? Even entering them the first time?

As for Ipsos, their Mobi knockoff is rife with issues so that got deleted quick, fast and in a hurry. Problem is, their Shopmetrics site shuts down CONSTANTLY, mid-report, without warning and thus requires entering the same info over and over for each report because there is no autosave. No other MSC's Shopmetrics site behaves that way.
Our industry needs one amazing app that is user-friendly across all platforms.

We don't have anything now but frustration.

Ipsos shopmetrics isn't nearly as bad as the old Alta360 shopmetrics page. If you hesitate between answers or take too long looking for the picture you're trying to post it kicks you out and makes you sign back in again.
