Five Guys Late Dinner hours change

I noticed that some of the locations in my area have changed the time that they close. Some of ours now close at 11:00 PM. In the past all of ours closed at 10:00 PM. I don’t know if it’s just my area or nationwide but the shops where we used to go in between 9:30 PM and 9:45 PM for me will now be 10:30 PM and 10:45 PM. I don’t believe I’ll be doing the late night ones anymore that now close at 11:00 PM. I know we’re supposed to check Google or call to check the closing hours. I have to admit that I just haven’t been doing that because they always closed at 10:00 PM. I have seriously been shopping Five Guys for almost 20 years. I just thought this information might help somebody else out because I showed up at 9:34 PM tonight at the Five Guys that now closes at 11:00 PM. I’ll be calling now!

Many of them in my area started closing at 11 PM about 5 months ago. Unless there is a very large bonus, I am not going there at 10:30 PM.

Staying open later for the party crowd, I guess lol.
Seriously shopping FG for about 20 years - my hat's off to you.
That's a lot of burgers, you must have everything memorized by now.
I am curious, if you remember, what the price was for a burger and fries when you first started shopping them.

Life was passing like a hand waving from a train I wanted to be on
Have the guidelines changed? Because previously they always said that if the restaurant closed later then 10 that the late night shops just had to be started at 9:30 or later. I forget the exact wording. Some of our 5G have been closing at 11 or later for years.

You know what, I do not remember the price back in the day. I remember before they had the little fry you had to buy the regular fries. I also remember that back in the day you could only order burgers…nothing else. The fries used to go to my squirrels until they invited their “relatives” into my home last fall—Mickey and Minnie. I took care of those two critters! Now they go to my friend who has chickens. Lots of times I will get a bowl like I did last night and just get tomatoes, onions, jalapeños, and green peppers. While I’m waiting my 15 minutes I eat a few fries and take a tiny bite of the hamburger and cut it all up and get it ready to make a small portion of chili. Usually, I’ll just add a can of some type of beans and a can of tomatoes and some seasoning. I generally will get three servings of chili off of that one hamburger. Sometimes I just freeze the patties. I have about five in the freezer right now ha ha ha ha. Then I just repurpose them for meals whenever. I just had to make it work for me. Sometimes I will take a friend along and let them enjoy the hamburgers. People really like them. It’s just I’m not a big hamburger person. I do like the BLT, and usually I’ll ask for extra bacon. Lots of times that goes in the freezer as well ha ha. it’s good with eggs! Some of that bacon went with me to Myrtle Beach to put in the green beans I had on Thanksgiving when I rented the Airbnb for the holiday.I just like to do it for the bonuses and we have about eight of them in my area so that is a really nice chunk of change if I do several each cycle. I’m thankful for Five Guys.

I’m going have to check that out before I do the next one that closes at 11:00 PM. I have another one to do this evening but at that location are we checked will close at 10:00 PM tonight. Since all of ours always closed at 10:00 PM all these years, it just shocked me when I realize that last night and I thought maybe I wouldn’t get approved for it, but it was approved. I know during Covid, some of them were closing early back in 2020 and so.
We actually have one location around here that has always closed at 5 PM...late night/dinner and dinner shop times overlap you can arrive 15 mins earlier for the dinner shop, but you don't need too. Lol. Three shoppers could theoretically be there at the same time for the three meal periods. If the lunch shopper arrives close to 3:45 and stays well over the 15 mins minimum and the Dinner shopper arrives between 4:30 and 5:00 or stays later then 4:30.

Your question about what the price was when we first started shopping Five Guys got me curious, so I hopped on my computer and pulled up my receipts, and funny thing, my first FG shop was 20 years ago this week! The hamburger was $4.25, Fries were $1.95 and a drink was $1.65, so the total cost was $7.85 plus tax. I can't remember if they had "little" burgers and "little" fries back then, as my receipt just says HB and Fry so I am assuming they were the regular size. The regular size for all three are now $22.07 in my area, or $13.99 for the "little" combo.
The requirements in my area require a visit during the last 30 minutes. That means 10:30 PM or later. I confirmed that with a scheduler. I told them not to bother calling unless it was $35 or more. I actually made an offer and did one for $32. I considered the meal to be worthless to me.
