I have the new app now and I can't find where it says the pay for the shop after you accept it. The pay was $8 for one location that I assigned and now I'm looking at another location and it says $18. I assigned myself to the $18 one and I'd like to check that it's not a typo but can't find this info after I claimed another shop.

I've never been able to see the pay and reimbursement separately after it's assigned which is really annoying. But I'm not sure I know what you're asking.
It would even be nice to receive an email with the amount that was agreed upon. I get nothing to show what the amount was until it has now been accepted.
Sorry.. I use the browser website. The new app blew up a couple jobs and I needed to complete them on the browser version. So I put the browser website on both of my devices and deleted the app.
I just did one yesterday, the only way I could find it was by clicking on the link in the email for the presto shop log, which brings you to the website version instead of opening the app. Weird. And even weirder that they didn't think this was important enough for them to put on the main page of completed shops.
