FORM - Kroger Anyone done these Are they quick and easy

Are they quick and easy. I have 7 stores with in 3 sq miles, so hardly miles involved. I like their app a lot. How fast can they be done?

I do believe there is now a minimum of 20 minutes if you are doing the instore grocery shop. They are very quick for me as in zero minutes. I do my weekly shopping while staying longer than 20 minutes to buy what I would anyhow.
I thought I recalled the time in store had been increased last month. Below is a pasting from the website:

Spend a minimum of 30 minutes in the store, and complete the shop alone.

For those shoppers who have, in the past, posted being in and out in a flash, if the 1/2 hr. minimum is enforced, their work might not be acceptable.
I applied for a bunch last month, but they didn't assign any to me. The shops remaining on the board are the ones I requested, but the dates don't work with my grocery shopping route this round. They should have taken advantage of me being willing to do them for $10 while I was already inside the stores.
I'll have them send me the guidelines. The only way they can time it is by taking a picture at the beginning and end and checking the time (file name). There are ways to work with the app. Sounds like a weird job from them, usually it is complete the task and split.

I recently did a Kroger shop at their smallest location in McConnelsville, OH. I ended up just taking my time going up and down every aisle (all 5 or 6 of them) to help pass the time. It's not that hard to spend 30 minutes if you pace yourself just right. Thankfully with the larger stores you don't have to linger around that much longer to fill up the time. Remember this includes checking out the restroom and also taking time to scope out the parking lot. Plus if someone wasn't available in a department during the first pass on my visit, I'll go back again and see if someone is there now.

Here's a video someone posted to YouTube in case you want to check out the McConnelsville Kroger. I was pleasantly surprised with what they were able to do in such a small space. [www.youtube.com]

I think this is a different job, guidelines say just take pictures of certain messed up areas. Or, certain areas, emphasizing messed up ones. My guess is about 15 minutes. Doing some on Friday.

How close was your guess?
Bumped to the weekend. Needed more stuff for a route. I should be close. I do shop at Kroger, so I am familiar with the stores and the app.

After reading the guidelines, I tried to grab some more today but they all went away as they said would happen.

Bob, correct store, different MSC, totally different shop. The shop they are talking about says in the highlights that is should take 20 - 30 minutes. But stops short of saying anything about a minimum or maximum time in the store. There also is no required purchase.

This one is done as fast as you can take the pictures. No check in, just point and shoot. The app they use is great.
Hey jp43209!

I take McConnelsville Kroger shops every now and then! That is a crazy little store for sure. I did a prepaid card merch job up there on the day a big snowsstorm was predicted and it was a nightmare. Everyone in the entire town was in there all at once it seemed. I could hardly get to the card displays because they are all up near the registers. The displays are also all a mess and nothing matches planograms. I haven’t touched that job again since that because they said I’d put the cards in the wrong place. I asked for guidance of where they were supposed to be and got crickets.

Have you tried the bowling or pizza shops in McConnellsville yet? Iv’e done them twice, got my fill for awhile. Lol.

Anyway, I detest the FORM jobs. If it’s a large store, I end up spending a lot of time running back and forth. In small stores, the employees are giving me the side eye because who takes that many photos in the grocery?

I did one last week. About 23 minutes. Now that I know what they are looking for (you never really know until you open the job), I think between 15 and 20 easy. You have to learn to skip around, as the order of the questions is not the way the store is laid out.

I will use these as drive by jobs. If I will be driving by, I will grab it. There are enough (within 5 miles) by me that I could do nine or ten for a decent profitable half day.
There is a limit of 4 Kroger shops per day, so I try to find other shops in the area. I do my own grocery shopping while doing the shops, so it often takes me longer than 30 minutes per store.
Did not see a limit indicated on the description.
You are correct. I just looked at the instructions for a shop I will be doing tomorrow. It says you can shop the same store up to 15 times a year but doesn't say the limit of 4 shops a day. Periodically, the scheduler sends out an e-mail summarizing the requirements, and that limit of 4 daily is in the e-mail. Don't know how a shopper who hasn't been getting the e-mails would know that. Maybe the system wouldn't let you schedule more.
Since I am on the site multiple times a day, I scan the emails but don't read them. Didn't notice the per year stuff either.

I will admit I only read enough to decide on the job and then the guidelines relevant to completion.
Four shops in a day sounds pretty crazy to me. Twice is doable, but usually I just schedule one and might do some other shop (for a meal or car wash) in around the same area.
Generally, you are looking at 60 photos. They can be revealed audits, if you are approached by a Kroger employee. You'll have to study where the photos are to be taken, and plan accordingly. For example, you have photo requirements for meats/seafoods and Center Store. If you cannot get your photos in meats, you can take photos of center store across from the meat/seafood department.

Do not read so much, look about you and think of what you see there.

The one I did was 47 pics, I think. I took all the required ones, none extra. I am doing four this weekend. I think I should be under 20 minutes for sure and I hope closer to 15.

For this weekend I have, 3 medium size stores and one larger one. I have worked in all these stores, but never really had to learn the layout.

Now that I did one, I know to just skip around and do it in the most efficient way possible. You can always tell when there are steps written by someone who has never been in a store, other than to buy food.
