Frustrating cell phone shop employees.

I recently did 2 cell phone shops. One today, I asked the employee for the promotion on a phone. I was told, "I have to go into your account to find the best deal" I said I don't have an account here. The employee said, deals change week to week, month to month. I would have to go into your account to find out. I repeated again, I don't have an account here. I said, how about for new customers. What are the promotions? They said,......I would have to go into your account to find out. LOL
Another shop, I was looking for help with the phones. One employee said they could help me. They gave vague answers. Good camera good batteries.......I asked a question. The employee said, "I don't know anything about these phones, let me find someone who does. LOL
