Citgo - What am I missing?

$7 for 11 pictures, unrevealed. A photo of the dumpster, since doesn't everyone take pictures of dumpsters when they are getting gas? Photo of Seals on pumps and questions about pump payment experience, but buying gas is not part of the shop. Not 1, but 2, narratives. $1 reimbursement.

For $7???

Unclear why anyone would do one of these.

I used to do them for $17-20 on a route with a previous MSC, but the one they're with now, I have not seen any bonuses in my area. Would never do them for base pay - FAR too much work
They do go higher eventually. But it seems like most go for $7, or maybe someone is haggling up to $10 or so, which is still ridiculous.

I used to do a lot of negotiated routes with the old MSC, which allowed me to group a lot together. With the new MSC, by the time they are willing to go high enough, what's left is so spread out it's not even worth bothering with. And the new report has more questions, including the narratives, which kills me on input times.

I will say bundling with the other types of shops at the same site can be lucrative, but usually not enough to make a route of it. And some of those Club shops can be a real pita when the screens or readers don't work

I did the same, negotiated for routes, and I did not know they had narrative questions now - in that case, they will go on my 10-foot-pole list!
There are very few Citgos in my area, and it seems like they never get to double digits.

Hard pass.

I don't think there are any Russians / And there ain't no Yanks
Just corporate criminals\ / Playin' with tanks
Two narrative questions!

I don't know who is taking them, they are currently clogging up my list of insta-shops on Presto, there seem to be more of them than AAA shops. No one seems interested. And I know for a fact that I'm not, Not even bonused
Oh, you mean the ones with the email subject line, "$7 gas station shops!"
The exclamation mark gets me every time. Do they think that is exciting? "No way I'm burning gas and time for a loss. But wait, it's exciting! Sign me up!" *eyeroll*
I can't believe people are doing these for $7. Only the ones in remote/rural areas or the ones in rough neighborhoods are unclaimed.
Don't forget the huuugggeee 1.00 reimbursement.
I've found some that only require a couple pics and a receipt. I won't do them for less than $10 and have got some for up to $15. Worth it on a route.

A 3 picture job that can be 100% complete in under 10 minutes. A profitable drive by or a 7 jobs in 2 hours door to door in my area.

I did over 50 in April. None left now, but easy money while it was there.
I would do routes for the $17 to $20 range. I can't afford to make routes at $7 when hotels and gas are factored in. Just not worth it to me. Not even locally.

I do them sometimes and lie on them out of spite just to stick it to the man and get free Red Bulls. @#$%& pay = @#$%& report. Never had one rejected.
Yep. I usually have the report submitted before I leave the location. Finish in my car. Did an easy $10 and bought a can of soda. Pays for gas when doing routes...

I think the pay of the credit-card only shops are fair relative to the labor involved and I too use them for "packing peanuts" to get some refreshments and gas money. But the weird ones where you have to take like 9 pictures....uh; no.
I will do the debrands at closed stations only. And only as a drive by. Using Sassie on a phone (or a computer) takes too long on the picture upload time.

Maybe someday, they (many Sassie companies) will pitch in and get a proper app.

I'm biased toward SASSIE. For some reason, I like the ease of using it. I often have to do a screen cap of my photos I take on my phone to get a JEPG to upload them to the Shopmetrics sites. Sometimes I don't though.
Try using a dedicated app like Go Spot Check or Mobi Audit. Makes using Sassie on a phone seem like pre internet days,.
