Amazon shop

I just received an email regarding an Amazon purchase and return shop.
The MSC will tell you what you have to purchase, potentially an item from $200-$1200.
Just a heads up - there is a Reddit group for AmazonPrime.
Every single day, there are several people there claiming that Amazon is giving them pushback
on returns, especially high dollar returns - many have had to go to small claims court for resolution.
People indicate they returned the items in perfect condition, no issues noted. Some even take dated pics.
Amazon has even shut down the accounts of people making returns....
I have stopped purchasing anything higher dollar on Amazon.

YMMV.

I just got the same email and thought the same exact thing. This is very risky since Amazon has been denying returns at a high rate rate as per those sub reddits or they may accept the return but then flag your account as a problem customer. Think carefully before accepting this shop
yes, you phrased the situation much more succinctly. Thank you.
This one has warning flags all over it - and I posted for those who may not be aware or haven't seen the lawsuits against Amazon. I'm curious why this is being shopped

I didn't see the email so I wonder which MSC is offering it and is Amazon actually the client? Any chance you might give a hint that isn't too revealing? I don't want to do the shop, I'm just dying to see what it says.
A pivot, but amazon is too liberal with its return policy and its creating a huge waste stream (and side industry of amazon bin returns). They do need to clamp down on things. They should deduct shipping for remorse returns (if they don't already) and figure out a fair method to deduct monies for items clearly used or damaged by the customer. That's a bit tricky and costly to do, but its doable. That would be better than outright denying returns.
