Has Anyone Done a Panda Express Shop Recently?

Has anyone recently completed a Panda Express mystery shop? I’m curious what the main focus usually is—food quality, staff behavior, cleanliness, order accuracy, or wait time. I visit Panda Express often and think it would be an interesting shop to review because the experience can change a lot by location and time of day.

Another point I’d look at during a Panda Express shop is how easy it is for customers to understand meal choices. A lot of people compare sides like Chow Mein, Fried Rice, and Super Greens before ordering. I sometimes check this simple meal guide first so I can choose better:

It would be interesting to see if nutrition details are easy for customers to find in-store or online.
Do you also happen to work for Panda Express? Have you mystery shopped any other food and/or beverage shops? Or are you just starting out with mystery shopping? I am asking because you just joined this forum and your screen name is specifically about Panda.
The shops I've done ask for a little bit about everything, and they are fairly easy to do. My last one was back in January and I hope they will come back to my area sometime soon. However, since I have many points from previous shops, and I also take advantage of their $8 promo gift card deal, I'll occasionally redeem points to get a plate for the price of a bowl and have myself a tasty meal. While the shop reports never asked about nutrition, I know from past experience that steamed rice, Super Greens, Teriyaki Chicken, and the Broccoli Beef are relatively good choices. But sometimes I want Orange Chicken and don't care how bad it is for me!
At least in NYC area, I believe they don't shop PE anymore.
No Panda shops for awhile now.

I popped in and used some rewards to try the new BBQ Beef dish. It was quite good, and I will return to use some more points.

If you live in SoCal you can get a 2 item plate for $7 on an online order the day after the Dodgers win a home game. So while awaiting the return of Panda shops you can still enjoy your meal there without a report. Type the words Dodgerswin all caps where it asks if you have a promo. Check your location as it mght be only some cities Los Angeles metro area is definitely included.;
@sandyf - Thank you for just mentioning the Dodgers! smiling smiley
Hmmm, being a lifelong Dodger fan, I think I may try that, even though I'm in Alabama now.. can't hurt to try!
I'm gonna try that too. I have enough points left for 1 entree dish. I'm just too cheap to pay for PE.
Fortunately they are winning the majority of the games so most of the time they are in town I can get $7 plates. For those of you who do not live here check your home teams to see if they have any deals in season. I know there are some teams here who are sponsored by other fast food companies that give big discounts on their food the day after a home game is won...basketball, football, soccer etc any one of those teams may have a deal in their hometown for games on their own turf.

There aren't any pro baseball teams in Alabama. I think the closest team would be Atlanta Braves. Next closest would probably be one of the TX teams.
GO BRAVES!!!

I remember when I used to watch the BRAVES every night on WTBS. They were my favorite team growing up..

I have also went to one Baseball game at the old Atlanta Fulton Country Stadium. I also went to the old Astro Dome in Houston to see a Braves Game (That was when Houston was in the NL)

I also remember Skip Carry's call as Sid Bream was rounding third base.. AH the memories smiling smiley

Cincinnati and St Louis are actually quite a bit closer to Northern Alabama than Dallas or Houston. Kansas City is just a little closer as well. Perhaps less close culturally, but closer geographically.

All that said, the new Panda Express BBQ brisket is surprisingly good.
Thunder,

Not really, as much as I dislike Hotlanta, it seems we go there at least once per month. And I do 3 Kroger shops there every round. The major inconvenience is the difference in the time zones, it always has me up against the clock. I don't know the mileage, but it's about an 8 hour drive to St. Louis, and considerably more than that to Kansas City. And it really only takes about 3.5 or 4 hours to get to Atlanta from my home that is just about 50 miles South of the TN state line (maybe a little more, but not much).

I think I can claim The Braves if I find it necessary. But I'm am and always will be a lifelong Dodgers fan, I was born just 2 years before they moved to LA, and they moved into Dodger Stadium a little over a year after I was born.
