Amusement Advantage

Has anyone had any problems with this company? I did a shop and the website claims it was paid, however, the money hasn't shown up in my PayPal account. Sent them an e-mail about it and got an answer that they'll look into it at the end of the week whic actually is unacceptable since I don't think they should wait several days to investigate.

I've done four or five shops for them, the most recent one in June, and have never had a problem getting paid by them.

I have done several shops for them and never had a problem with payment.
They are on my 'good' list. I'd verify your profile to ensure they have the correct paypal email address.

RobinMarie -- Thanks. I should have thought to look at that. I left out a "t" in the e-mail address. I just wish they would have let me know if the payment had been kicked back to them.
YAY so glad we found the problem!

I know they're busy this week, trying to finish editing and wrap up August. That's great that you discovered the missing letter in your PayPal address! Have you notified Payroll that you updated it? If not, please email payments@amusementadvantage.com with your name, corrected PayPal address, and shop name and date, so that they can send your payment out asap. Thanks!

Jen -- I'm going to send them an e-mail tonight to let them know I screwed up. Thanks.
Hello. I just wanted to share with the group some information as to how payment questions are handled by our company. We research inquires and complete payments once a week. We appreciate everyones patience as the company doesn't have the resources to respond to payment inquires immediately. The way unclaimed payments work with Paypal is that they sit for 30 days or until we manually search for unclaimed payments from one of the batch payments. We then research who it is for and then we can cancel the payment. At that point we can setup the payment to be issued again with the next batch payments. It is a manual and time consuming process.

Thanks for your hard work and dedication to mystery shopping!

I did one with Amusement Advantage. Great fun and I got a glowing review of my report. I was very happy to say the least. Payment came just as promised. I am looking forward to another.
I have to let everyone know that it was my screw up because I mis-spelled my e-mail address for my PayPal account. Once I fixed that, I got paid in a timely manner and, they were very pleasant about my screw up. I generally don't accept their on-site assignments because I don't have anyone to go with but will try to pick up a shop or two when I'm staying with a friend in Florida.
