Shopping the same businesses again and again

I love mystery shopping but after 5 years shopping I am getting tired of shopping the same businesses over and over again. I wish I could get some shops I've never done before.

I too am tired of shopping the same businesses over and over, but I look forward to every Jan 1 when hopefully some shops I would like to do, that are currently with companies I don't choose to work with, will 'see the light' and move to better companies to deal with.
Agreed. It does get sorta boring doing the same shops over and over, but every now and then a new one will pop up. Of course when it does all of us that have been shopping a while fight over it!
I agree too with this issue, and I sincerely wish the shop questions asked of employees would be changed.
Guess it's just part of the game. I know ever manager and many wait staff at every Chili's in my area. But oddly enough I don't think my cover is blown in any of them, becuase if they suspect me as a shopper I would think the service would be better...LOL
Try and sign with different MSC's, I have picked up some new type shops and restaurants as well. Banks done over and over out of your location get tiresome, I hear you, gotta spice it up, I'm doing a variety, that helps.
When I was doing the same bar audit monthly, put a fork in me, I'm done. I eventually got caught by them, and glad I have a years rest on that one.

Live consciously....
I was just thinking the same thing this morning.. I do the same shops, often at the same locations, over and over.
This week I acutally did a few different ones and it was nice for a change.
Did a yougurt shoo and a bank that I have not done in years.
I always look forward to different places.
Years ago Chili's was shopped in our area but not now and would love to one again.
I got so sick of a certain bank I quit doing them. Too bad, it was pretty good revenue. I knew I was toasted when I started dreading "bank days". The shop was OK, the pay was OK, and the bank personnel were always amiable. But - boring, boring, boring.

I'll do teller shops all day long every day because it's easy money. Post offices too. Nothing exciting, but part of nearly every day....like getting dressed. Just a task that needs doing....and it has a payoff that adds up. Started keeping pre-addressed packages in the car. Sometimes you have to spice it up a little though. Hoping I can do that with video. Getting my hair highlighted and bought some new business casual clothes. Want to make it fun dressing up some. Even getting new glasses soon. I must say that I got so bored doing some shops I stopped doing them.

Today I Will Choose Joy!

"Finally, whatever things are good, true, noble, lovely, of good report...if there be any virtue, if there be any praise...think on these things." ....It's a command, not a suggestion!
I'm burned out on a lot of the banks. I'd prefer teller shops, but it's almost all banker shops. After a while, it's just painfully obvious in small towns. How many times can you ask for the same info? At least with teller shops, you're just doing routine transactions and not making up info.

I'll tell ya, I'm really enjoying video shopping. I've always loved planning trip routes, taking the lesser-traveled roads, and seeing little towns along the way; this lets me do just that. The interactions are different, too. I know they, too, will lose their freshness, but for now they're a challenge and enjoyable. Variety is the spice of life!

Good point Arch. You would think that would benefit the client and the overall intergrity of the shop. How difficult is this to change things up from time to time?
Yes no yes no yes no.
They should hire us to upgrade their reports.

I learned a little while ago that life is for the most part boring... Same things done over and over again... But these are done so we have the ability to pay and experience all the treasures of life... In this economy there are many that would love boring... But becausr they dont have the money for a computer, transportation, or various other necessities for contracting they dont have the oppirtunities we share... The saying goes you need money to get money...
