Scams on the radio?

So twice today while at work, there's been a scam-y sounding radio commercial about mystery shopping. You can make big bucks blah blah blah, just send an email to getjob2011@(hotmail or yahoo) can't remember.
Is it just me, or is that really weird to be played on the radio. Those Ads aren't free or everyone would have one, right?

Your radio station is showing exceedingly poor judgment. I would be tempted to call them and ask if they have checked out the veracity of their 'client's' claims. Obviously the radio station wants the revenue from the client, but perhaps they owe their listeners a little more than getting ripped off?
Driving, I recently heard a radio ad. Something like $1000, $2000, or $3000 worth of coupons for free groceries. You provide your credit card information, to be billed a one-time $4.95 processing fee and if you qualify, will be sent vouchers or coupons to your favorite stores. When I got home, I did an internet search. Not many hits needed reviewing to realize it was a scam, which had been obvious to me. Providing credit card information led many trusting souls down the path of repeated charges. Some sort of coupons were delivered, though they were obscure and unusable.

The station was an AM talk station. Agreed, they're only interested in revenues.
How about the scam getting a big check deducting payment for job @ western unions. Is this a legit assignment?? Will the check eventually bounce? Someone
please respond to this post today, Sept. 7, 2011. Thanks!
Yes it is a scam and yes the check will bounce, do not deposit it.

The checks are authentic enough looking that your bank may give you credit for them initially. Do not be fooled as eventually the check will bounce and you will be owing the bank for every penny of it plus bounced check charges.

Absolutely. I can't believe what I was hearing!
A couple of years ago I worked with a guy whose wife heard a commericial on the radio about mystery shopping. Pay $100 and get all the materials needed to get a gold certification. They set her up with a Yahoo email and sent her all the printed materials for the test. She got a computer and just knew she was going to make big bucks. Once she got all the information and study materials she lost interest. I asked about it a couple of times just to see if it worked and she always too busy to finish it. If it was a scam her husband would not tell me or she really lost interest and never got started. Either way she lost interest rather quickly.
