Clear Evaluations: Classy Move!

Last night I spent close to three hours doing their mandatory training for video shopping new homes. As training, it was decent, but I could not help but to think, "Boy, it would really stink to sit through this and then not get any assignments." Well, today, I was offered an assignment at their normal fee - with a $30 bonus.

That was a classy move.

You will love working with Clear. Incredible communication with people who know what it is like in the trenches.

Equal rights for others does not mean fewer rights for you. It's not pie.

Never try to teach a pig to sing. It's a waste of your time and it really annoys the pig.
Did they require you to purchase the video recording equipment? What company is this if you don't mind sharing.
is it literally called CLEAR? ... have never done video but think it would be fun!

There is a post about video shopping near the top in the New Mystery Shoppers section. After reading it, do a search for video shopping to bring up a lot of great threads. Make sure to change the default from last 30 days to all dates.

That was completely my impression. I really appreciate their "common sense" approach to working with various situations and their commitment to getting good quality shops.

The company is called "Clear Evaluations." I own my own equipment.... Start by reading the threads @LisaSTL mentioned. Some companies will loan you equipment. Some offer training. There are paid training possibilities. I started by just purchasing my own equipment and figuring it out myself. In the process, I made a couple or five mistakes. Getting a little training, if, for no other reason, to learn accepted "norms" in the business is a good move and one that would have saved me a little headache.
