Kudos to the Regal scheduler!

While on an overnight audit I emailed, Ashley, the scheduler,with a non urgent, clarification question. Not realizing she still checked her emails after hours, I emailed her at 11 PM, expecting I'll hear back the next day. To my amazement (and significant amount of guilt for emailing so late), she replied within a few minutes answering my question in her usual, polite and clear way. Wow!

Well, OP, sending a late night email is not like texting. I don't think anyone would mind that. But yes, how awesome that she was so immediately responsive!!!

Yes, they are doable. They are awkward, though, with the third person writing style. I didn't mind doing them, but it does take getting used to when referring to yourself as "the guest" instead of "I" or "me". Like when you first go to the front desk to check in: The guest and companion arrived at the front desk at 5:02 p.m.

Yes, by all means. And some nice properties in your geographic area.
My challenge with Regal is the deadlines are often 8:30 AM the day after check out which means if you're traveling home from out of town, you've also got to finish the report same day when you're exhausted from traveling. This is tough because I usually like to skip filling out surveys on a travel day and then wake up fresh the following day to bang out the hotel report.
I don't find the deadline to be a problem. I write as I go- I finish an outlet, go to my room or go sit somewhere and write, and then go off to the next. I would hate to write everything the following day- way too much info to retain, especially for big shops. It also makes me feel better knowing that everything's fresh in my mind, & that I'm being accurate. But we're all different! smiling smiley
I have never done one of those before. Why do you have to write in 3rd person? Also do you have to pay for everything up front and wait for reimbursement? How does that work? Do you recommend? It sounds actually okay. I hope you have fun! Thanks for sharing.
Saw this, figured I'd chime in with my two cents.
I'm not sure why they require us to write in third, but honestly, once you do it, it becomes weird to write in first. I was also iffy about it at first but, once I did a shop or two, it became second nature.
And yes, you do have to pay up front. That's why I never take on the huge 3-4 day shops. I definitely don't have those kinds of finances lol.
Don't let that deter you though! They're fun, and I never mind ranking up my hotel points to use for later winking smiley
