SHOP COMPENSATION

SHOP DESCRIPTION
This is a late evening bar service evaluation. Shoppers MUST arrive at the assigned location after 9:00pm and spend at least 30 minutes evaluating the bar experience. You will NOT be evaluating table service as part of this shop.

BEFORE YOUR VISIT:
Shoppers will make a phone call using a specific number and code provided in the shop form before visiting the assigned location. During this call, you will ask a question about hours, parking, menu, etc. and note your findings in the ‘Telephone’ section of the report.

DURING YOUR VISIT:
Observe enough so you can later describe what it was like interacting with the greeters, using the restrooms, and, of course, your experience at the bar. The latter will be the focus of this report, including related staff names, key details, and associated narratives.

This bar shop will be for 2 people, and you are required to order 1 alcoholic beverage each. You may also order 1-2 tapas during your visit. Note that you will be reimbursed for a maximum of 2 alcoholic drinks (1 per guest).

You must sit right up at the bar and put yourself in a good position from which to watch the bartender. In addition to general experience, you'll observe cash handling and alcohol service practices while carefully watching for dishonest or unacceptable behavior from the bar staff.

REVIEW GUIDELINES:
Please review the guidelines and the evaluation form in your shop log at 3 p.m. on the date you have selected for your shop, as they are subject to change. This will help you know exactly what to look for.

ENSURE REIMBURSEMENT:
You will need to pay with a credit card and obtain the itemized receipt AND credit card receipt to be uploaded in the same picture in order to receive full reimbursement. Make sure to write the tip amount on the credit card receipt.
