Hey Jacob.......

I have an idea.

"why don't you have the "Private Message" blink when we have a private message? I come to this board more than I check my email.

When I come here, IF the private message was flashing then I check my PMs.

What usually happens is I come to this site and check the conversation for the current 2 or three days and new topics.

When I leave the site, IF I have done a shop in the last 24 hours, I check my email. I see a PM message notification for you. THEN, I have to go back to the forum and check my PM. Too much work!!!

I see U are always trying to improve the forum board, so...................how's that for an idea.

U probably could have a topic called "NEW IDEAS" something to learn from.

thanks for the suggestion! It's true, I am always trying to improve the forum, though I often am not able to do as much as I want.

It should let you know in the top-right corner now when you have a private message. Let me know if it works!

It works, J. It stood out when I came to the board today. If it had been any bigger, I would have missed it. Thanks. Now I don't have to go back and forth unless I want to.

It does not blink or flash but it stands out. wwwwwwwwwooooooooooooooooooooooooooo:-)

Next we need dancing icons or emot-icons.

LUCKY7s, look at the top of the page in the right hand corner when you get a PM. I'll send you one so you can see the new and improve PM notification.

I am not knocking you but I told you on 2/18/12 that ----->"My idiosyncrasy. just wondering. I liked the PM icon being in that corner. :-) " I was telling you in not so many words that the PM was missing.

But nnnnnnooooooooooo, LisaSTL tell it's missing and you jump right to it. Just remember, I am still looking for the emot-icons. :-)

I still like --->""why don't you have the "Private Message" blink when we have a private message?" b/c updates says new updates when posted and are red in color so they stand out. Happy March March first!!!! :-)

My sweet, sweet friend, you would! You and I were probably tied for those who used the emoticons waaaaaaay too much. I admit. I had an addiction to them at one time. Like REALLY bad! It wasn't an easy habit to break. They're cute and they prevent misunderstandings when used correctly.

I still have a folder on my laptop just for emoticons and I have over 760! (Need a bug-eyed or jaw drop emoticon here. LOL) I knew I loved, loved, LOVED those little critters at one time but dang! That's a bit obsessive, even for me.

On the other hand, Jacob is welcome to them if he decides he wants to add emoticons to this awesome forum. Just be forewarned. Ya might wanna look through them. I am currently concerned about how someone gets deactivated. Not me so far. Could you PM me and I will articulate my question. A current reason for this. You know we love you. Do you feel like a god?
