Inbox Spam?

WTH? Like there aren't enough scams around! I just found this in my inbox on this forum:

Seriously? Of all places to send me this type of message, this forum is likely to be the place where I'm least likely to bite. Do I look like I've got a "sucker stamp" on my forehead? How do I politely (or not) tell this person to F.O. and alert Jacob to a spammer?

Heads up folks! This message came from kelkano, a member with no posts and he/she seems to have sent this to a bunch of us.

As did I. I'm guessing that most, possibly all, forum members did. By the time I got to it, it read "deleted", so it looks like it's been dealt with.

my girlfriend was concerned because she started getting a lot of scam stuff in her inbox a few days after i used it to log into some shopping sites and this forum... had to explain to her thats how they keep web browsers/email sites free... ads and tracking...

i think right now i dont get much scam/spam... is because i have been on their lists for a looong loooong time... even when i first started out when i was 13 i filled out all kinds of crap... i was stupid... but i think now that they already have my info they ignore me...
