Most I have earned ever in 2 months. is just wanting to get paid. I am still owed for two shops in December. We are approaching the 80th day---(90). I don't want to beg for payment. Most of my January and February shops have been paid.

Just waiting. sorry cooldude ;-(
I'm hoping March turns out great for me - as great as January and February so far this year.

But, I have my doubts, simply because I snagged (4) $50 shops, (1) $75 shop, and (4) $30 shops in February.

Oh well, still a great two months!

Unfortunately, I'm pushing myself to earn as much in March as I did in Jan & Feb - and now I'm completely overwhelmed with "normal life stuff"

Examples:

(a) I have a huge pile of mail from Jan/Feb that I haven't even opened;
(b) Bills are due tomorrow, I don't have time;
(c) My 2011 file cabinet needs to be gone through and put in envelopes or shredded since I keep ALL of my paperwork for 10+ years; AND, I won't open that huge stack of mail UNTIL I go thru my paperwork!
(d) Oh yeah, did I mention Taxes are due in 45 days, and I haven't even started those yet? I've got 3 Schedule C's, one Tenant/Rental Schedule, and normal income/unemployment to try and figure out! <--- Those are in the file cabinet that I have to go thru, but don't have the time!

So - I lost it today. The stapler was eating my receipts and kept catching on the papers. I threw the stapler against the wall - now there's a huge hole in the wall, and of course this house is up for a short sale. *sigh*

Just can't win...

BUT!

I did make:

January = $1228.50 plus $332.50 Reimbursements
February = $1578.50 plus $318.00 Reimbursements

So far Scheduled in March, only have $689.50 and $341 in Reimbursements

(and yes, I also work Full-Time, fortunately from home... Yes, I'm exhausted, but we desperately need the money. I don't know what else to do.)

So far for March? It is only the first you know, LOL! You need a bubble bath and a glass of champagnewinking smiley

So far *scheduled* for March - oopsie, "Scheduled" - that's the keyword there. *LOL*

If I tried to pull two consecutive $1200+ months, I'd need more than a bath and champagne. More like a fifth of Makers Mark and a straight jacket.
LOL! But don't you have a full-time job yourself? It wears me out just thinking about working full-time and trying to bring in $1,500 plus.

Sure do. Fortunately, I'm salaried and have a boss that is flexible regarding hours. Meaning so long as I'm on top of things, he could care less if I take an extra 45 minutes on lunch or slide out a few minutes early. That's when I'm able to squeeze those few extra shops in.
Thankfully, I'm in a similar situation Dave. I'm "salaried", and I work with the best group of guys. I usually take one day a week and try and get 7-9 shops in, then also that same amount on Sat. & Sun.

What also helps is I do phone shops - not those recorded ones due to my recording phobia (I really gotta get over that though!) - a definite advantage to working from home.

I'm ready for the straight jacket though!

One of my infamous tangents coming up...

Since we are short-selling this house and moving back into the rental house, I also need to clear at least one weekend every month to drive up to that house, repaint, recarpet and get stuff done up there.

Thankfully we DO have a place to live, and it's just my oldest & youngest son living in the rental. Unfortunately, since the youngest & his fiance had dogs, and didn't crate them, I refuse to move in until we get new carpet. Of course, can't do that until it's repainted! To me, that house stinks and while I love my FDIL to death, her cleaning is not my cleaning.

My best month was last month with $250. Usually I only make about $75 so I am thrilled! I homeschool my kids so I have limited days I can shop. I'm usually happy with $75 because that gives us more money in the food budget or everyone gets new shoes or whatever. But $250 oooo-weee! There's money for ME to get something this time! smiling smiley

I have been fortunate so far...My January was $414 plus $26 reimbursements all paid in full. February was $580 plus $234 reimbursements (half paid in full so far). March I have $426 scheduled/completed and various reimbursements (but always on the hunt for more [insert evil laugh here]).

I am a single mom of 2 kids, and only have 1 day I can get away without the kids in tow. I am also a full time business management student. I go out once a week for 10-12 shops and then pick up little ones in my small semi rural town 1-2 days a week. The shops in town I am able to take the kids.

My goal has been $400 a month plus reimbursements...I have been blessed enough to get it.

@RainyDayz3 I am sorry to hear of the issues your family is facing. I hope it all works out (sounds like it is) and I don't blame you for new carpet and paint I would have needed it too smiling smiley
I am still sorta kinda "new" at this, but I lucked into a local MS company that had me doing apartment shops....I guess you could say I "officially" started shopping on 1/23/12. I see from my records that I have earned about $1000 in 6 weeks. I have been paid for just about all of that but for 250.00.

Things will slow down though because I did take a part time job and I have a couple of workshops to teach....but I was sorta pleased with the amount. However as you can all attest to, there is a lot of work involved. At one point I was ready to throw my computer when I got some of the apartment shops back for more narrative or clarification....grrr.....but if nothing else, it helped me to tighten my writing skills, and on the last shop, I only had a couple of corrections to make, which took less than 5 minutes.....Yea!!!!!
January: $1181 (not including reimbursements)
February: $1325 (not including reimbursements)

I'm too burnt out to even put half of that effort into this month. I'll probably do around $500 for March.

Sincerely,
H.A.R.D. at work
