I'm not sure exactly where they are located, but I think iblessyah might have been near them.
Actually after I posted that, I went to another topic and she just posted there about an hour ago.
We had 2 in Georgia last night. Luckily I was a bit south of them. Kinda scary for weather like this already. My heart goes out to those with homes destroyed, and deceased or injured family in the other states.
Absolutely agree with all of the sentiments expressed. The Missouri and Illinois tornadoes earlier in the week pale in comparison to the ones last night. I was so hoping this season was not going to be as deadly as last year. Another Midwesterner who hasn't posted for several days or answered PM's is Tech Savvy. I pray she is safe and sound somewhere.

I'm not sure exactly where she lives either, but I believe the storms passed near the metro area she lives by, but didn't hit it directly.

If you're in the midwest and have been watching the coverage of the Ohio/Kentucky storms, one of the towns that was hit almost directly (Crittenden, KY) is 10 miles from me. We were very fortunate to escape with only some wind-blown landscaping and a missing grill cover.
Glad you got through them with nothing serious. Our news showed an area "outside" Lexington that got hit hard, but it wasn't clear just how far outside it was. I love both Lexington and Louisville. I never have enough time to actually stop and enjoy either one and have to change that in the near futuresmiling smiley

We had tornadoes aroung here in MI. Very fortuantely no injuries, but a lot of houses devastated. Part of that is because they had adequate warning because of updated technology here.
The early warning systems have been making a huge difference in some areas. It is still devastating, but amazing and miraculous when something like that can barrel through with no fatalities.
