Can't find the post

Over the weekend I found a post somewhere on this board about video shopping. I only copied down the first one which was videoshopping network. I remember seeing a list of video companies under it. I registered with the videoshopping site and was told they're a network for 7 different companies. I assume the companies were also on that list.

I've done a search today and find a lot of posts with video shopping in them, but not what I was looking for.

I was told most companies require a button camera and a PV500 which runs around $420. You see where I'm going here? If these shops only pay $10-$20 or so, is it really worth it to buy a $420 video camera? My iphone 4S takes great video, but the operator needs lessons. LOL.

Any constructive thoughts floating around on the board will be appreciated,.

Overall this forum does not do a great job of using the search feature for more than one word at a time. Try a single word such as 'videoshopping' or if the camera was discussed, try PV500.
rubypearl,
The is a completely seperate forum called the videoshoppernetwork, where you will find detailed specs for acceptable equipment. that is the site sponsored by the seven big video shop companies.

They post openings there, but without fee details, as it is an open forum. Video fees run from $35 for short jobs to $125 and up, somethimes plus travel fees, for longer and more complex jobs.

For several very detailed threads on video shopping, do a search on volition.com, where most of the video shoppers hang out.
