Ron Walker died this morning

My son-in-law, Ron Walker used to post here under my name. He used to go on long routes with me. He got up this morning to send my grandson off to school and then had a heart attack. He did not even make it to the hospital. He leaves behind a wife who depended on his loving heart and
two young children who are very confused. He was 38 years old and strong as an ox. They were prepared to lose me or their mom who both have heart disease but they considered their daddy to be invincible
Please be praying for us. Financially things look impossible but God has a way of making all things work out. Thanks for your prayers.

So sorry for your loss. DH lost his father while he and siblings were young. It is a huge loss and a huge adjustment.

Oh Ibless I am so sorry for you and your family. My thoughts and prayers for your entire family.
Can't tell you how sorry I am. I've been away and this was the first post I read because of the subject matter and seeing your name. You have certainly had a lot to bear lately. My prayers are with you and your family as well.

Thanks all for the prayers and good wishes. My church family has wrapped themselves around me and the kids. Melody doesn't want to see anyone. Lilly is really sick with streptococcus so spent a big piece of today taking her to the doc. She's a little rag doll, dehydrated and weak so pray for a speedy recovery for her. I had two pretty good days physically but am exhausted now. Must get some rest tonight.

Lilly much better. I am worn out. Starting out at the Social Security Office in the morning. Gotta find housing, food stamps, medical care and the list goes on and on.

Bless...so much to do. I am very sorry.

For housing/food stamps/medical you may try your local department of jobs and family services. I know here that is what it is called. My brother had to go on all that stuff in emergency and they were quite helpful. Just make sure to take everyone's socials, proof of current addresses, birth certificates and proof of incomes. This will help speed things along for you.

I know different church groups (as you are probably well aware of) can help with some emergency food pantry items.

Glad to hear Lilly is feeling better. Holding you up in prayers.
IBless,
PLEASE, pace yourself! Perhaps your daughter or your brother can make some of those visits on behalf of the children.

Nope Wales, I'm doing all but am pacing myself. Canceled all shops and doing this stuff every other day. Heading for church in the morning for peace and quiet to stoke my own power supply. Then to Social Security for an appointment on Friday.

Finally know visitation is Tuesday 4-8 at Newcomers in Middletown KY with funeral on Wednesday. Took a while to raise money for final expenses but all is taken care of now. Thanks all for your prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss. I understand what your kids feel like. My dad passed away two yeas ago at the age of 62 and it was a shock. His kids will hurt but they will move past it and get better. They will always love him and it will always hurt but they will be ok someday. I'm praying for you and your family.
You brought him into to mystery shopping to help him and his family. And, you both shopped some routes, together. Most probably, there are some priceless memories.

He was so young, and his passing is very sad. I'm so sorry for the loss to you and all his loved ones.
