Work from Home Opportunities

If anyone's interested, I found this link in MySpace which lists quite a few MS companies and a lot of other interesting sites. I can't vouch for the validity of all of them but they may have some promising ventures.

Maybe Jacob will make this sticky if you ask him. I've signed up with a few of those companies.
Sneakers,

Let me know how you make out with the ones you signed up with. I applied to that productpickup.com that you posted. Have you heard anything from anyone yet? They contacted me but nothing so far.
I was at Kasamba.com for a number of months, but had only 2 requests and made no money. It has now become more of a social networking site. I emailed them and removed myself.

I have NOT applied with productpickup bec I can't find a good description of the job.
If anyone has signed up with some of the listings, please, post what you have experienced or learned about them.
Here's another site for paid surveys from research companies. Many offer different types of online opportunities.

I went to Greenbook and signed up with a couple that looked pretty good. I did the profiles and was accepted into the surveys.
I've already done one that paid $5 for about 5 minutes. This was one of the medical in the green part of the greenbook. They pay twice a month, no matter how much or how little you earn.

Pinecone pays immediately by paypal for every survey you qualify to do for them.
Problem with surveys is, you have to be in a common demographic to make money on these. I live alone, no kids, am over 60, don't have cable TV, have an off-brand cell phone, don't own a home, don't drink a lot of soda, pay no attention to advertising, watch mostly PBS, etc. I was disqualified from so many surveys that I've quit. I did only 2 of about 40 at Your2Cents. If you're more average, go for it. It's fun.

I set up a separate email when I started surveys, but by choosing legit companies, I didn't get a single piece of spam anyway. I got my original list from a site similar to Green Book..

Also, stay away from the ones that give away only sweepstakes entries and ones that give only points. You get zilch for 1000 or 2000 points, maybe a $5 gift card.
Some of these listings at Green Book seem to be for companies that need the surveys rather than for participants. What did you sign up with, Billie?
Ricca is one I signed up for. It's medical. You have to have knowledge of the medical field to do their surverys. There's a test and you have to pass the test. I signed up, took the test and had a survery immediately.

I was doing several surveys but have pretty much quit them all but Pinecone and I have a couple I get once a month surverys I'm still doing.
I do the Neilson Home Scan. You scan the bar code of your purchases then upload them once a week into their site.

I've been paid by IView once. You have to get to $25 in surveys to be paid. Now it seems I can't ever qualify again for one of theirs. I've pretty much put them in the Spam folder.
