This Really Happened!

I have been having a really bad week at my regular part time job. So bad, I thought I was going to just quit. I have been praying on it. I don't want to make any kind of rash decision.

You know those displays companies have, sometimes below their business signs. They can display words and graphics in color and they change every few seconds. I have seen restaurants use them to display there specials. I guess they can program them to say anything.

Well this morning, on the way to work, As I am driving, I pass a business that has one. The first thing that comes up:

“JOE” (by the way that is my real name)

that flashes out and then this big graphic of a cartoon sunshine with a smiley face comes up next.

That flashes out then it says “Have a Great Day!”

I am so surprised I did not get into an accident. I did not see what came up next, because I passed it. My day was not horrible at all, as I had expected it to be. I did not pass the sign on the way home, because I headed straight for some shops.

I had something similar happen to me. I was really upset and my husband and I were in the car, arguing. I remember thinking I was tired of the stupid fight and felt really down. A guy turned left in front of us and he was staring me down as he was turning and driving. To the point where he should've crashed for not paying attention to the road. The weird thing...the guy suddenly looked like my dead uncle and I got the feeling he was saying to knock off the crap. Then just as he finished the turn, my uncle disappared and the guy driving the truck was back and staring ahead as any safe driver would do. It was just a three second flash but I got the message loud and clear.

I like yours better and I'm glad you've decided to stick it out. But especially, thanks for sharing! Glad I stopped over in this part of the forum. smiling smiley
