Lets do away with the gimmicks

I am tired to getting emails constantly from everybody and their brother because I inquired about working from home on the computer. The gimmicks are fast and furious. Thanks to the spam patrol, I now can usually delete without looking but you name it , I've gotten solicited by it I think.

Yes, Pearl, it's a problem. I don't like them on my fax machine, either. I've even sent faxes back to the worst offenders saying, "You have no right to steal my fax paper for your personal advertising."
I like the fact that you use your name instead of a pseudonym, Pearl.

So how did mine get to be my email address, Can someone tell me how to change it?

John,

I don't think they've heard about the law. We still get unsolicited faxes.

It's not that they didn't hear about the law. They just choose to ignore it because so few will take the time to help enforce it. The spam is out of control. I average over two hundred emails a day that I consider to be spam. Yes you can delete them without opening them, but the filters are imperfect and if you just use them without looking at them you can very easily delete something that is important. It's a lose lose situation. All we can do is grin and bear it and hope that some day that one perfect offer comes up and then we can forget everything else and ignore everything else.
Check out the fax law - becuase I think the fine is $500 for continuing to send unsolicited faxes after you have told them to stop.

I found the following at this site:
