Fallow that truck

I went to do a hardware shop. Confident I knew where it was; I did not print out the map.I got to the hardware store, it was there, but was not the one I thought it was. Frustrated I pulled out my information about the shop. And started looking for the right location. I was trying to look around this big truck in front of me at the street signs. Getting even more frustrated. I decided I should try and pass the truck. So I could get a better view of streets and addresses. As I was waiting at a red light I looked up at the truck’s logo, and busted out laughing. It was a delivery truck for the hardware store I was looking for. Needless to say, I followed the truck. Hope you get as lucky as I did.

Too funny!!

I did a shop at a top secret installation. They gave me an address, but I couldn't find it. I finally figured out that it was somewhere that I knew, but I got there too late.

The worst part was that the sentry was an old man, and made me get out of my car. He kept threatening me with a body search, because I was not on the list. A THOROUGH body search. I think he thought he was being funny. I wasn't laughing. I am considering sexual harassment charges; I have the names of all the witnesses in my shop notes. I just hate that sort of negativity.

Now if he was my age and cute........

Wannabe scheduler/editor

I made the ultimate snafu last month! Remember all those emails we get from the schedulers reminding us to assure we go to the correct business - call ahead and confirm the address- all that - well, I did a shop - for a bonus price, did the "map-it" on their site. The business wasn't right where the map said it should be, so I went to the one nearest there - that I knew of - - - GEEZ - - - then got a message from the scheduler that I had went to the worng one - -I was so embarrassed! I apologized and asked her to let me make it right - and do the correct location. She did. I did. and she still calls me to do last minute shops for her - - BUT I suggested they fix their directions to the shop.
