You must make the call from the phone you want blocked. It takes about a minute and only 2 prompts.

You might have. Did you check who owns the site?

I didnt go to a site, just called the number. They refer to themselves as THE National Do Not Call List. There are quite a few options and other series of prompts, like if you have complaints to report, problems, etc... Sounds legit, but what con these days doesn't?

The Do not call list is legit. I am not sure that the phone # you called is them, though. I never have called, I did ours online through the years.
